Ursula rips herself off the sword, the wound quickly vanishing thanks to Maria. She commences getting the hell out of the way.

Phyliss backs off for the moment and looks at shadow!Richard, bemused.


Marie turns back to butterfly and tries to dispel Shadow!Richards shield. Why not?

Pendragon rushes at Ursula, and stabs her again, as her sword explodes with light.

Shadow Richard hurls ice at Phyliss, bemused at Marie's attempts to dispel the shield, which bounce off and return to her instead.

"This is what I love about RPG-style shields. NOTHING is going to remove them short of immense power."

Lucas begins seeing something happen. The plains of images seem to start closing in, giving him less and less room to work with the... whatever he's fighting are. Something is in this images. Something.

Ursula dodges the stabbing! Lucky bear. She attempts to rend Pendragon in two.

Maria is still healing people.

Marie gets...well, there's nothing to be dispelled.

"Ah, well. If you just want to stall.. Why, if I recall correctly, I don't think shields block status effects. "

She switches to firey wings and rains fire on Phyliss, who is busily avoiding the ice and glaring at Shadow!Richard.

Camille is waiting a good distance behind Shadow!Richard.

Andre moves backwards, firing off increasingly larger force orbs.
Ariana holds up her shield, glancing at Shadow!Richard and waiting for an opening.

Camile fires the laser, hopefully knocking Shadow!Richard around!

Ursula is still RIPPING AND TEARING. Or at least trying.

Phyliss pokes at Shadow!Richard. With magma, obviously.

Maria tries unhealing him, just for the hell of it. Not like it can hurt her if it gets reflected.

Marie's wings become draconic, and she tries to murderize Pendragon via newly acquired claws.

Santa Anna is still sitting around, idly healing the party.

Andre hacks at Shadow!Richard.
Ariana stabs at him, tentatively.

Shadow Richard is knocked down by the combined force.

"Now to-"

"YOU FAILED ME. NOW....PERISH."

Shadow Richard attempts to get up,but before he can, he is disintegrated into red slush.

"It seems I have to deal with this myself."

A large, black figure, with glowing red eyes emerges from the gym, looking down on the party.

Pendragon looks momentarily confused, then shatters.

Richard is confused.

"Whaaa?"

"Rrrricharrrd, I saw this coming, and you didn't? I'm ashamed of you. Therrrre's ALWAYS a fake final boss. Well, okay. Not always, but definitely often."

Camille gets the hell away from it.

Phyliss stares at the figure.

"And who do YOU think you are? "

Ursula seems to sniff where Pendragon disappeared, then vanishes as well.

Maria turns to the figure, raising an eyebrow.


Marie giggles and waves at it.

Ariana and Andre silently watch figure.

"Oh, not that.

I was wondering where she came from."

He points to Phyliss.


Meanwhile...

"I am Noxus. Master of Darkness. Nightmares. Terror. Death.

You may know me as the Bogeyman. The Grim Reaper. Charon. Phobos. Deimos. I am all of them, and none of them.

Noxus reveals himself....as a calm, peaceful looking old man in black robes, with a gnarled cane.

"I will not fight you. I have no quarrel with you, unlike the Shadows.

If....you promise to fulfil a condition I will set."

Phyliss looks at Richard.

"I walked in the door. "

Camille scratches her head.

"Errrrrr, slight prrrroblem with that, Mrrrr. Noxus.

You told us a few moments ago that you werrre the Shadow's boss. Shouted it out, in fact.

Something like... 'You have failed me', I believe? "

"She's right, but tell us the condition anyways. I'm curious. Besides, I'm a nightmare myself.  Maybe we could go out together someday. Have a drink, scare some humans out of their wits... Things like that. I dunno, never really had any other nightmare-like-people to hang out with. "

Andre exchanges a brief confused glance with Ariana.
"Well, tell us your little condition, Nit- Noxus."

"I am averse to fighting unless necessary. Why do you think I wanted them to kill you for me? Saves me the trouble.

Of course, I have a bargain.

You give me the location of Corvus, and the-Richard. And you may leave without further ado."

"Who or what is this Corvus and what do you want from me?!"
