Sola!Marie tries hugging him.

Ariana sighs again. "I knew that was a bad idea."
She starts looking around.
Andre walks over to Shadow Alith cautiously. "Erm."

"I let her die. My best friend, like a sister to me.I could have stopped it.

I let them do it."

Shadow Alith looks up, ignoring Marie.

[Twi]

A more insubstantial version of Phyliss appears from the flame.
She just sort of hides under her robes and looks about, seemingly hardly aware of Ariana.

Marie hugs more, listening attentively.

Andre just listens, silently.
Ariana continues looking around, but stops for a moment when she sees Phyliss. "Uh, hello?"

Ariana and Phyliss see the same thing the party did when they arrived, except for an open door in one of the buildings.

Shadow Alith notices Marie and screeches.

"Stay away from me! Who are- you're with them, aren't you?! Aren't you?!"

[Twi]

Phyliss looks at Ariana, then bursts into flame. In fact, she outright turns into magma.

"Why... "

"Nah. I get the feeling that 'they' are the kind of people I'd like to haunt with terrible nightmares. "

Ariana steps back from Phyliss. "Why what?"
"Calm yourself." Andre's tone makes it clear that he's fully aware of the futility of that request.

"Bullshit! You're a warlock sent to kill me! Bullshit!!"

Shadow Alith draws his short sword.

Alith looks at him.

"Was I really that paranoid?"

[Twi]

"Well then run me through all you want.

.... Wait, that'd kill you via exploding. Nevermind. "

Phyliss falls silent.

Shadow Alith stands up and moves away from Marie.

"What are you?!"

[SomeStupidGuy]

Andre puts one of his hands to his head. "Oh this'll end well."
"Okay then." Ariana heads through the open door, glancing back at Phyliss as she walks.

[Twi]

"Not a warlock, certainly. Nor sent to kill you."
