"Tell me what this is please."

Andre shrugs. "Whatever you say. But in my experience, a place like this isn't where you want to start arguing."
He fiddles with his talisman.

Various herbs and extracts that Cath's probably never heard of, many menacing with spikes of warning label. Also, notably, dragon's blood is in there somewhere.

"Hello. I don't think I've met you. "

She then notices Arnkeni.

"Coffee, I think? It's a stimulant extracted from a plant. Popular among humans, I hear, though you might have to add copious amounts of sugar to like it- if I remember correctly, it tastes somewhat bitter on its own. "

Maria shrugs.

" One of my friends had a solution to those things. Make them recite a verse of Scripture about a hundred times. Even if they don't get the point, they're too tired to argue afterwards. "

Nicole starts to stir. ((Finaly another synonym for "wakes up"!))
She finds he book lying on the ground and pen next to it.
"I don't remember falling asleep..."

Nicole picks up the book and pen, storing them in the pockets of her jacket. This jacket, unlike the one she wore to Corumaret, is gray, rather than brown.
"Time to get some food."

He follows.
