((... *Throws a bucket of water  on EC. * Wake up, you. Is there still a Shadow!Maria or did the 'soul being turned off and locked in a safe' make it go away?))

Shadow Maria stares at the newcomer, before taking the advantage of surprise and trying to run Andre through from behind.

"...Rebooting soul unit."

Ah, there's Santa Anna again. She gets in Shadow!Maria's way.

"So it's no-one's now?"

Shadow Maria makes a sort of hissing sound, before summoning Thera to blast Santa Anna with cannons.

Shadow Andre smiles bemusedly at his non-Shadow twin, waiting.

"Hmpf, of course. Well-" He notices Shadow Maria just in time to avoid the backstabbing.
"As I was saying, I hardly see how I'm the cowardly one here."

[Twi]

Santa Anna.... doesn't give a damn.

Also, Maria attempts to slice Shadow!Maria in half.

Marie is laughing evilly by the wayside.

"Hey Shadow!Andre. Discretion is the better part of valor! "

"You ran away from your own responsibility, faithless shit.

You needed to stay, you knew well enough. But you ran away.

What, is that heart of yours truly dead? I expected better from myself."

Shadow Maria is knocked aside by the slash, before she bumps her head into Durandal.

Gaston groans and gets up, drawing his saber.

That actually makes Andre pause for a moment. "I- I had no control over that."
Andre regains his composure. "Hah, I think I serve the Way of White just as well here, as I did in Lordran."

"Yeah, yeah, bullshit. You could have stayed. Lordran needed you. These worthless otherworlders don't.

You're no different than deserters and traitors in the streets and for the block! You serve only a dingy automaton, a stupid boy who doesn't know anything, a woman with a rifle who loves the eyes of Shadows, and a shapeshifting poltergeist.

You swore to help others, yet all you're doing is attempting and failing. What're you going to do now, run away again? And then claim to the next bunch of fools that it was 'out of my control'?"

Shadow Maria smiles, before summoning both Santa Anna and Thera at the same time.

"I suppose this mode of attack has not occured to you yet, defective one."

Santa Anna shouts, before setting her banner down. Thera roars, and suddenly Shadow Maria goes at just under Camille's speed. Santa Anna disappears as Shadow Maria aims for her real self.

((Fusion attacks!))

Maria suddenly stabs herself in the chest with Excalibur. The wound seems to glow...

...and there is suddenly a thickets of pikes just waiting to impale Shadow!Maria if she doesn't...well, basically, reverse direction right now. They float in the air, held in place and sharpened with magic.

"To think there was all this power locked away in those gears.. "

"Note to self: Maria's machine half is overpowered. "

"There's more to it than that, actually. "

"I haven't run. I've done whatever I can possibly do to help, regardless of where I am. And unless you plan to actually attack, I really should get back to the fight. It was lovely speaking with you, though."

Shadow Andre sighs.

"At peace with your self now, eh? You should check yourself.

So many die and suffer in Lordran and you leave them to help the few. The needs of the many matter more than those of the few. Or is that not what you wanted, to help as many as possible?"

"How do you propose I return? Do you truly believe that I don't realize how many needed my help?"
