As she speaks and by extension, loses her concentration, the mass of blue lights shrinks slightly.

Sapphira shrugs and continues with the coffee and the watching.

Ariana sighs and the blue lights begin to drift slowly downwards.

"Who's is that?"

Orichalcum looks at the shack too, then shrugs.

Ariana slumps to the floor and begins writing something down. The lights fade away.
Nathan sits around in the rec room.

I am a war automaton. Surrender your arms immediately or you will be dealt with with extreme force. "

Surprise, surprise. It's Maria....only with glowing golden eyes.

"Great. Shadow Maria."

"What zoes 'zerminate' mean?"

"It means we're dead."

[Twi]

"Oh my."

Maria turns at the warning and immediately switches to computer mode in response.

"Negative. You are a medical automaton. You do not appear to be permitted to use force except in self-defense. You are threatening a friendly machine. Situational assessment indicates high probability of malfunction. Shut down and allow yourself to be repaired."

"...Oh, hey, I can still talk. That usually doesn't happen. "

((Fun fact:  Red!Maria has a detailed knowledge of chain of command. It might consider itself senior to Shadow!Maria in this situation. ))

Andre shifts into a defensive stance and stares at Shadow Maria.

Entering martial stance."

" Unit is not responding to commands. Identified as rogue unit. Requesting assistance. "

" Well, then. Time to face myself. Or half of me. Or a seventh of me. Or whatever that is. "

Maria takes out Arandal.

Meanwhile, Marie is still planning something, and Camille takes out her laser and sets it to cryo.

Shadow Maria takes out her own Arandal and draws her Evoker.

"Unit defective. Unable to accept self as emotionless robot.

Unit is only machine made to heal, not even truly alive or human. Cease your failed attempt at humanity or be terminated."

Andre edges closer to Shadow Maria, waiting for an attack.
