Marie finally finishes her transformation and throws a punch at Shadow!Richard.

And I do mean 'throws'. It's like a high-power water cannon. Except with liquid metal.

Camille frowns at the parry.

Maria is still approaching him.

Shadow!Richard is knocked into the nearby water fountain.

"Ow. Hehe.

You can't kill me until Richard accepts me, which, seeing as I'm a more badass version of him, won't happen."

He pulls himself back up and notices Maria.

"Sneaky. NOT."

Yomotsu-Shikome appears,replacing Galahad and blasting ice at Maria.

[Twi]

Maria blocks the ice with her sword and charges Shadow!Richard!


Meanwhile, the liquid metal stays on Shadow!Richard, still being pushed by whatever force launches it. It gets stronger as Marie approaches.

" Personally, Richie, you're much less badass and much less cool. As villians go, you're pretty flat. "

Marie smirks. Since part of her is right next to Shadow!Richard, she finally has a potential chance to do something like what she was meant for!

Marie attempts to initiate Mortal Kombat Mental Combat against Shadow!Richard, whatever the hell that means!

But if it doesn't work, she's still attempting to drill through him. Oh well.

((Fun fact: Marie is a psychologist.
Other fun fact: You have no idea how long I've been wanting to have Marie's status as a nightmare actually lead to something interesting.))

"Nightmare versus a nightmare. See, missy, it just isn't going to work."

Shadow!Richard snaps his fingers, and Marie and Maria are struck from behind with blasts of ice.

Meanwhile, in Nayaru's hive...
Allie wanders around, on the side of "I'm getting better."

Maria is slowed, but is dangerously close to getting in range.

Then she has a STRATEGEM!
She desummons Santa Anna, who has been standing around buffing for a while, and then summons Thera.

Right on top of Shadow!Richard, or just about. Stomp, stomp. Possibly kick.



Marie.....doesn't seem to care about being hit by a bit of ice. She's slightly colder. I mean, she IS made of ferrofluid. Freezing it would basically give you iron ice. That would be weird. Good jarb!

Anyways, she looks around for the Shadows from before. Are they still about?

Camille, meanwhile, is...uh...wasting time somewhere. Wait, no, she's looking for the real Richard, using her construction tool to remove any obstacles again.

Yomotsu-Shikome was already on top of Shadow!Richard.

So she proceeds to blast Thera with ice. Hard.

Shadow!Richard just sighs and steps back.

"How can you keep a solid form out of mercury? You'd have to be freezing to do so, Marie!"

Thera takes the hit with some damage and responds with CANNONBALLS TO THE FACE.

...Well, probably to the chest-ish, but still.

"I'm not doing any of those things. "


Marie grins and launches herself towards her 'hand!' And towards Shadow!Richard, of course. At quite high speeds.

((Magnetic Marie is magnetic. Well, for a somewhat relaxed version of magnetism.))

Meanwhile, Maria FINALLY gets close enough to swing at Shadow!Richard. About time.

Oh, and Camille continues to run about looking for Richard.

Shadow!Richard whistles and several things happen at the same time.

Maria is batted away by a large, ogre-like Shadow. Or just gets smacked down. Either way, she gets intercepted.

Thera is pelted with more ice blasts.

Marie is intercepted by a bunch of floating dice.

Camille is sealed off from the rest of the party by a large wall appearing between her and everyone else, and she is now stuck in the next hallway.

Camille shrugs and keeps running about.

Thera is desummoned before taking too much damage. Maria, for her part, attempts to circumvent the obstacle and possibly unheal it to death.

Marie hits the dice like a battering ram. Last I checked, the dice were weak to blunt damage.

...Well, okay. She tries to go around them. She probably fails, though, and high-speed collision would thus ensue as previously scheduled.

Not this time. The dice strike Marie with lightning.

Maria now has to contend with a large, ogre Shadow, who attempts to blow her off her feet with a blast of wind.

And Shadow!Richard blasting her with ice.

Meanwhile.....

Camille hasn't found Richard yet. He doesn't seem to be on this floor.

[Twi]

Marie responds by vanishing.

Maria, meanwhile, manages to stay on her feet and blocks the ice, before attempting to strike at Shadow!Richard again.

Camille goes on to the next floor, then!


((*Holds up Marie ex Machina.* ))

Andre dashes to the ogre shadow, swinging his sword in a wide sweeping motion.
