The Shadow recoils, before blasting the party with fire.

Gaston dodges,as does Alith.

Maria is hit by the fire, but seems to be just fine. Marie dodges out of the way, and Camille uses Maria as cover.

Speaking of Camille, she shoots a bit of cryolaser at the Shadow before hiding again.

As for Marie, she shortens those claws a bit and begins slashing furiously at the Shadow. A murderous grin spreads across her face.

Andre gets hit by the fire, but aside from a brief moment of pain, seems to be mostly okay.
He attacks again, with a low slash across the shadow's legs.

Gaston's blade glows, then he rushes forwards and delivers a flurry of slashes. Alith fires his bow at it.

The Shadow reels, before bellowing. As it bellows, it's eyes glint red.

Everyone is consumed by intense fear. Gaston resists, and continues slashing. Alith, however, fails and hides behind a plant.

Marie resists as a matter of course, and is quite frankly in brutal murder mode right now anyways.

Maria seems to be frozen up, not that she was doing anything anyways.

Camille hides with Alith.

Allie's wopunds are indeed cauterized, but more holes show up.


"Could one of you stay in here?"
Ncole shakily grabs the glass and drinks from it.

Sapphira just plain runs away!

Andre pauses for a moment, then grins viciously and continues slashing.
"Both of us can, if you want. I know I don't have anything that needed doing."
"Neither do I."

Gaston disappears for a second, then delivers a large glowing slash to the Shadow. It stands there, reeling.

"Kill it now!"

"I think I got sick in Corumaret..."
Nicole sets the empty glass own just as shakily and tries to cool of her soup.

Marie really needs no orders. She's already doing her best to DICE IT INTO A MILLION PIECES. Good lord. Vicious much?

Andre keeps on stabbing and slashing at the shadow.
"Yes, Allie said something to that effect as well."

The Shadow flees, and Gaston's saber stops glowing.

Alith is huddling behind the plant, muttering something.

"Don't kill her, don't kill her..."

Thingie awakes!

"did i miss anything?"

Marie charges after the Shadow with all the agility and grace of a murderous cat lady.


Maria, meanwhile, shrugs and goes to snap Alith and Camille out of it.

Camille is hugging Alith at the moment.
