He looks around the courtyard.

((Ah. Yes. Welcome to Persona 4:  Lost and Found Edition.))

Gaston sits down, muttering curses about what situation he's gotten himself into.

Alith looks around as well.

[Twi]

((Hehe. Now with Alpha Centauri MIIIIND WORMS. Except they're terrible at pretty much everything they're supposed to do and are only good for scouting, which Marie is probably about to find out the hard way.))


Marie concentrates, then manages to, after some exertion, shift into a relatively friendly looking green-haired, horned lady.

Relatively friendly until worms start crawling out of her clothes.

"Hehe. I don't want you to eat any brains today, okay? Just go find the one with the cricket bat for me. Can you do that, little diggers?"

The swarm of worms begins to spread out across the ground, apparently searching for Richard. And not trying to eat anyone's brains. Yet.

They crawl off into the mist......and silence.

[Twi]

To be fair, it's not like they were saying anything to begin with.

Marie is monitoring a rather unreliable psychic link with them. Useful even if it's not working half of the time...

"So many eyeees. C:"

Camille and Maria just stare at her.

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Okay then." Andre stares at Marie too.

All of them are slowly snuffed out. Some hear screeching, some hear a whoosh, but slowly, they are wiped out.

[Twi]

Marie winces, and seems to flicker like static.

"That hurt. Okay, back to plan B: brute force."

She starts to shift again. Sloooowly, this time.

Gaston just stares at Marie, while Alith sighs.

Richard wakes up.

"Unnnnhhh..."

"Get up."

"Huh?"

"I said get up. Hurry now, loner boy."

[SomeStupidGuy]

Andre sighs and waits for Marie.

[Twi]

Marie eventually turns into a red-haired, green-eyed catgirl with light green clothes (a top and shorts) and patches of bark on their skin. She smiles.

"Good enough. We planning on moving? "

"I guess we could be, not that we have any idea wherrre to go. "

"We could quickly become lost. "

[SomeStupidGuy]

"I was waiting on you, Marie. And honestly, it shouldn't be too hard to keep track of where we are. Let's just start on the buildings to the left and go on from there."

[Twi]

"Right. "

Marie does that, and Camille and Maria follow her.

Allie wakes up, but it looks like she won't be up long. She grabs for a cracker to eat. Partway to biting in to it, yet another coughing fit occurs. She accidentally swallows the whole cracker.
"Ow! Scratchy..."
