Ariana heads down, Andre follows.

She rubs the spot on her head where she hit the wall.


Allie runs to the lead, axe drawn, and Arnkeni goes to second.

Iris looks at the people in the rec room, the decides to sit on Jackes lap. She does so.

The party descends a while, until the stairs end. That area is still dark, but opens into a room full of spiderwebs.

Flipping the light switch, which Ladyflandre!Marie does if no one's done by the time she gets there, reveals several giant spiders about the size of elephants hanging around a ways into the room. They look like upscaled black widows, mostly.

Marie immediately flees, making quite a ruckus as she does. The spiders seem to hear the sound and begin to slowly edge towards the stairs, although they seem to be unable to actually see the group yet.

Utsuho!Marie nods.

"Sure, if you say so. Well, I'm Marie. ...Have you seen Marie? "

From the way she's saying that, it sounds like she's talking about Ladyflandre!Marie. Seriously, she says her own name very differently than Ladyflandre!Marie's name has been said. It's a rather strange means of differentiation, but it's functional enough.

Nathan resumes reading.
Ariana keeps at a medium-ish range away from the spiders, waiting for them to come closer.
Andre mutters some kind of prayer, causing him to gain a minor glow.

"I heard something about the basement... I think she led the others to the basement to look for someone."


"I hated Vriska. This'll be so very fun."
She charges the spiders.

Arnkeni doesn't talk; she's too busy anti-chitin grenading the spiders. But she does mutter something.
"No scarier than a Reethoker tank..."

[Twi]

"...Huh. Why'd she do that? Only Marie likes it down there. And she's not here. I think."

That sounds like yet ANOTHER Marie. Sheesh!

The spider Allie charges tries to stomp on her.

The anti-chitin grenades are moderately effective, and one of the spiders squeals in pain and vanishes into a cloud of static, much like Marie did whenever she was 'killed'.

((I can see how this is going. Every one of Marie's forms is also a split personality as well. ))
The squirt pops it's head out of the sack, holding the plushie in its stubby little fins, noticing Cat!Iris. It quickly floats out, and decides to hide in a small corner, making a Squirt sized fort with some stray cushions. Using a small whiteboard and marker(Likely from Camille and Saphira's argument), It draws a small diagram, showing the squirt, Jacke, and the cat/Iris. It all looks quite adorable.

Iris blinks at it and curls up for a nap. Like a cat.

((*glomps the squirt*

Also, Marie probably has at least ten thousand forms.

....yeaaaaaaaaaaaah. Takes a lot of nightmares to make a personification~))

Speaking of Camille, she has her vehicle and is working on hooking it up to the crane.

Ariana sighs and begins firing soul arrows at the spiders.
Andre dashes over, swinging his mace at the spider trying to stomp on Allie.

Oh yes. Sapphira is still in the hive, doing surprisingly safe chemistry.

And Nayaru is sitting on Spikky by the window, glaring at Sapphira. At least she isn't doing anything other than that.

Sapphira doesn't seem to notice Nayaru because she is too busy staring at what she's currently doing: a chemical light that glows a soft, warm blue. Her tails swish about a bit...
