The thorns keep growing and start to stab into the skinless, boneless corpse of the raptor. Its blood dries up and soon it turns into dust.

Marie suddenly takes on the appearance of a stereotypical (female) professor.

"Interesting. Most interesting. I am a psychologist, after all. This should be very interesting indeed. "

She muses to herself some more, still walking along.

The moss spreads a bit more. Allie backs away from it.
"I don't think that's good at all."

"You're only thinking this just now?" Ariana continues walking away from the moss.
"Well, me and the person the Reethokern took, we're not entirely human. Our kind are prone to violence, insanity and the like."

Iris (who is in ears-and-tail mode) walks over to where Sapphira and Camille are.

"Do you have any orange juice?"

"Why would I have orange juice!? "


"I don't think so. "

"Okay. The sign said there's juice."

Iris walks away, brushing against a sign hanging from the wall that has 'Free Juice' written on it.

Richard is still there.

The sign is promptly incinerated. Somehow, nothing else catches on fire.

...And the cat and fox go back to arguing. Oh dear.

The thorns grow a segment between themselves and the moss. Their appearance is now of a two-segmented finger with a long claw.
