Restored this ship from a bullet-ridden wreck to perfect working order. Managed a way to talk to someone face to face from who knows how far away. And oh yes, she built plenty of watches. "

Jacke seems to inspect the core he has with him, and also the crest of Caelondia on his chest.
"What are your secrets, little core? What do you do? And why do you do it?"
He and Lucas both begin examining the core.
"Ugh... So many things moving. Its almost as if theres a bunch of living things on it. "
"Might just be. I met a mancer once, before the calamity. He said the windbags we use to help in work and stuff are born on these cores. He then also said the cores remember things, so he may not have been entirely sane. But that might explain some things, like why after the calamity, the ground started to rise out of the void with no explanation. Maybe the Cores were remembering the land around them from before the Calamity."
