Vanished means something along the lines of "disappeared" or "went away", SSG.

She walks inside.

That is indeed rubbish. I could see some more plausible explanations, like, you know, using fire to forge metal, but hey!

"Did you see what was wrong with it? It's the only thing that isn't red or gray. THE ONLY THING I'VE SEEN IN YEARS THAT ISN'T RED OR GRAY! I can attempt to identify any other color, but usually I fail. Apparently not with Silver... That spider? It may have been asphalt, BUT IT WAS GREEN! I think that's what color it was, at least."

"Interesting. But, I don't know what it could mean."

Soon, just as Iris predicted, snow starts falling from the sky. Said snow comes in many colors.

She walks right back out, dragon in tow. Marie is clearly fuming. The dragon is mildly bemused.

"Aren't you asssking a bit much? You can't exactly order sssomeone to tell you what they're about to learn."
