One of the rusted metal trees falls over with a loud thud that makes Allie jump, especially considering that it fell right behind her.
"Eep! Does that count as hostile fauna?"

"The organic fortress thing the bugs have. Pretty sure our friends are in it. Not sure WHY the bugs have it since it clearly defies the laws of geometry at will. "

Kogasa!Marie relays the conversation to Andre. Of course, she has a bit of catching up to do. But hey, it works.

Ariana steps back and looks at the tree. "Not so much. More of walking bundles of vine and moss."
Andre nods appreciatively at Marie. Ah, thank you.

Iris nods and looks around.

"So..."

"Uh, we can leave, if you're willing to risk getting changed again." He gestures towards one of the exits.

"That is not good at all. The Reethokern don't torture for information. They just do so for fun. Have you tried rescuing them?"


More trees fall and in their places rise sections of chain link fence.

Iris steps out.

"I tried, but, as stated before, it's not exactly easy to navigate in. Managed to take down a couple of guards, but got lost. I'm considering just burnign the whole thing down. ...or if one of Phyliss's ghosts has toxins, maybe those can kill it dead. "

Iris comes out, shockingly enough, normal.
Nathan, on the other hand, ends up human, but female. "Distressing."
Ariana keeps out of the way of the fences and waits for them to finish rising.

"Impressive, Camille."

Nathan does a quick stretch. "Well then."
She reaches down and gives Iris a pat on the head. "Good to see you're normal. Or at least, normal for you."

Allie and Ariana are now in a large rectangular parking lot with no visible exit. Barbed wire has grown like a creeping plant up the fences.
"What now."


"Killing it will kill its occupants! You will need to get them out! They are probably attached to a machine..."
