Allie climbs to her feet and opens the door to get out of the cramped room. Still no furniture. And just as low a ceiling as the other room. From the window it can be seen that the room is on the fourth floor.
"Where the fuck am I?"


"Entrances" is the plural of "entrance", SSG. The entrances are many meters above the ground.


A Reethoker sees Marie almost as soon as she gets in and charges.

The Reethoker immediately gets subject to a concerted attack by the war wolves, who, as mentioned before, now have upgraded jaws for better armor piercing. The Embers try to set its head on fire just for fun.

After a quick look around, Andre decides to try climbing it. Which works, but it'll be a while until he gets up there.

The war wolves are immediately subjected to burning swords, which, in a simlar way to how the other party improved their armor, now have improved burning efficiency. The Embers get swat at, like flies.


Allie looks for a door, preferably the hall door, but can't find one.

((Steel gauntlets. So, on another note, should I just have Ariana wake up? Or do you have other plans?))

The war wolves now have improved burning resistance. That ghosts would carry on an arms race seems rather silly, but nonetheless, it protects all but one of them from getting burned, though the one that does is forced to retreat to wherever it was summoned from. Another is cleaved in half, however, and though it's apparently not unlife-ending, it forces it to disappear too. The Embers, meanwhile, vanish as well. Kogasa!Marie seems to be distracted by something.

Lucas, now back to normal, finishes some various forms of maintenance around the ship.
"There was a lot of those dang veils, right?"
"The statistical data does point towards there being a higher concentration of these, veils, in that room than in any other room in the ship."
"What, do you think they might be making a nest or something? That doesn't seem possible."

"Scr t."
It leaps at Marie and tries to drive both of his swords into her.

Ariana falls out of a panel in the ceiling.
"Oh! Hey!"
Allie rushes to her side to help pull her up.

"Urgh... Where am I?"
She looks around, dazed.

Naturally, the Reethoker's swords pass right through Kogasa!Marie.

She responds in her newly learned, slightly-better-than-the-last-time-it-was-mentioned Kestvoshorik. She sounds quite disinterested and distracted.

-Kestvo-"Busy trying to get a champion. You only have yourself to blame for wearing such heavy armor. And for kidnapping my friends."-Kestvo-

"...did you just say 'screw it?'"
The war wolves continue to try to bite through the guard.

((Yes, I am abbreviating that as Kestvo. Problem?))

Where the swords passed through, the real Marie starts hurting.
"Yr Kstvshrk s msrbl, ghst."

And he swings again!


"No clue. Probably not a dream though."

"Hmpf. It's been a while since I last slept. Even longer since I last dreamed."
She stands and removes her catalyst from her satchel.

Kogasa!Marie grimaces, but this next swing is blocked by the timely appearance of a new ghost: a man in full plate armor, equipped with a heavy shield (which he uses to deflect the blow), a hefty broadsword that appears to be superheated (via iron wire and car batteries), and an odd-looking jetpack on his back.

He seems a bit reluctant, unfortunately.

"Hey! The moment you summon me and you've already let me take a hit! What kind of-"

"Quiet, Templar. You fought under far worse odds, and frankly, these bugs apparently love chaos and destruction about as much as the Black Hand."

He grumbles a bit, but swings his blade at the Reethoker anyways.

_{"Yes, yes...our blades protect the innocent...and can melt through steel..."}
Kogasa!Marie takes the opportunity to get some distance between herself and the Reethoker.
