"Interesting. That object appears to be some form of Space bound Battlecruiser. The two fighter craft in the foreground though, seem more important. Watch what the Crescent shaped craft does to take on the other vessel."
"Thats some crazy pilot."
"Exactly. A regular pilot would not likely preform such erratic feints and sneak attacks. It is almost as if the ship itself was somewhat alive, but acting on a 'Fight or Flight' basis, like an animal. And yet, it seems that it easily had the potential to be more agile, accurate, and not to mention tactical, and yet it does not. It seems to point towards the idea of the theoretical pilotmind being somehow given a lobotomy of sorts. The logic behind such an action is strange."
"Fight or Flight eh? That actually makes sense about the file's name. If the craft is meant to preform Hit and Run attacks, wouldn't that basically be considered a Raid? Hence, Raider."
"Interesting theory."
They continue reviewing the files, making speculations as to what they are about, and the meaning of all the files.

Ariana and (after a quick prompting from Ariana) Andre follow along.

Nicole steps in and activates the elevator, which goes up roughly three floors and stops at the roof. It opens and Allie is the first to step out. There's currently a fight going on on the roof. Five Reethokern are attacking, of course. The Iron Masks, roughly seven of them, are doing a poor job at fighting them off.

"Wunderbar."
Allie retrieves her axe.

Nicole hasn't let go of her hammer since she started burning. It might be stuck to her hand.

"No thanks. I'm fine."

Iris then gets up.

Kogasa!Marie grins when she sees the fighting on the roof.

"Just leave it to me. Emberrrrrrrsssssssssss, where aaaaaaaaaaree yooooooou?~"

A few moments later, the five ghostly blue flames appear around her.

"BURN THEM!"

They giggle and promptly each attempt to engulf a Reethoken (?) in flames. Mostly by trying to fly into them.

"Okay then. Any opinions regarding where we go?"
Ariana shoots out soul arrows at a safe distance, while Andre does the exact opposite. That being, dashing into combat swinging a mace in the Reethokern's general direction.

Iris looks around the area and shrugs.

Nathan pauses for a moment. Evidently, he didn't have any ideas, either. "Welp, let's just go check out the woods for the moment."

Iris nods and starts walking toward the trees.

((The singular is Reethoker. Their language. Not mine. Wait. Still, stupid Rthkrn.))
The Reethokern seem to not want to burn this time. It's only been, what, two days since one was burned to death? Surely that's not enough time to implement fire-resistant armor, right? They do look a bit uncomfortable, though.

Ariana's arrows seem to distract them. Andre does more damage. He takes one out by sending it off the side of the building.

Allie hacks one's head off and Nicole cripples another.

The Iron Masks being fought weren't ready for combat. They retreat to the elevator.

The Embers focus their efforts on one Reethoker at a time.

Kogasa!Marie frowns. Her frown is deepened when something explodes at her feet. Looks like someone's been watching: namely, a certain ghostly woman in a bloody duster who looks a  lot like Camille, also know as the Anarchist.

"Amateur. You want to kill a bug? Need bug bombs."

She grins and resumes her pastime of throwing mildly mechanized bombs around.  Except this time, she's throwing them at the Reethokern.

Nathan walks along next to Iris.
Ariana and Andre keep on doing their respective Reethoker murder methods.

The group finds themselves tiring at a fast rate.
Allie's the first to fall down, asleep.
Then go Ariana and Nicole. Marie is unaffected, as is Andre, but they can't do anything. The Reethokern are leaving, headed hurriedly towards to the fortress.

"Oh dear."

Marie takes the opportunity to try and learn the various languages via dreamhacking. Because why not?
