Iris jumps to dodge them and falls through a veil. Her orange stripes are now pale red.

If you're not giving up the crush, then you should be prepared to move to the forge. Kapeesh?"

Nathan ducks down to make some snowballs.

Richard began to feel a sweatdrop form on his temple. This was a messy situation.

And he wasn't a visual novel protagonist; he couldn't charm his way out of this.

Iris and Nathan both get pinned by Alith in the head.

"You're right, it's gone. Perhaps I've learned to overcome it.

I can do it morrrre, though, if you'd prrrreferrrr that."

She chuckles and shakes her tail around a bit.

Richard smirked.

"For a minute there, I thought you were a doppelganger-ALITH. GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW."

Alith ran into the room.

"Yeah?"

"Make sure she isn't a do-"

"She isn't. It'd be obvious to Maria and me. Automatons tend to have a knack for spotting doppelgangers."

"Oh."

Richard looked sheepish.

"Sorry. I was worried."

Iris turns full cat and leaps off Nathan.

Camille giggles.

"Sheesh, Rrricharrrd. You'rrre so silly."

Maria quietly walks away and heads back to sleep off this whole mess.
