He chased us out last time as well.

Maybe he's the protector of the forest or something?"

"Still, it's weird how he only shows up if there's Shadows around. Probably holds a grudge against them.

Still, gotta be grateful. At least we know SOMETHING is covering us out there."

"True. But, he probably doesn't entirely intend to be saving us. We just happened to be there, being attacked by something he doesn't like."

"Better he attack the Shadows and chase us out than he attack both of us."

"Yeah, he isn't exactly frrriendly. Better than nothing."

Kogasa!Marie arrives at the inn and walks inside, her wolf pack walking in behind her. Possibly right through the door.

She directs the wolves to sit quietly around the fire, which they do. And then she turns to Braug.

"I see you got in. "

"Because you attacked him with ghosts. Yes, I was there."

"Still, I doubt a giant....crow thing....is going to be friendly after having a bunch of ghosts attack him."

"Wasn't me. Some kind of alterrrrnate verrrsion of me, maybe. But herrr verrrsion of the AI is named Megaera, not Tisiphone. "

"Good point. Marie isn't precisely a tactical genius.

I'd advise staying clear of Shadows for now. He might show up.

Or for that matter, bringing Marie. I just realized....every time the crow has showed up, so has Marie..."
