Kogasa!Marie reappears with the ruins group in the inn.
 
" Nice place. Have people been here? "

"What? If you're talking about something that happened towards the end of that fight, I was probably unconscious."
Ariana looks around the inn.

[Twi]

"Oh. Okay."

Kogasa!Marie has an idea.

She gets rid of her visible form, leaving nothing for anyone to see (or hear or feel), splits up her senses into several 'Maries', so to speak, and has them all start drifting through the ruins, searching for signs of life.

[OREOSOME]

"So... What now guys?"
"I have no clue. Perhaps we should make camp for the night. Viktor! Lets set up."
She and her mech suit set up their campsite.

Lucas inspects the inn.

"Out of curiosity, what happened?"

[Twi]

"Marie brrrought in a giant arrrmy of ghosts and the shadow rrran away. I think it was the crrrows that scarrred it off, though."

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Hmm, you mentioned seeing yourself?"
"Welp, guess I'll go along with you guys for the time being."

[Twi]

"The one leading them looked a lot like me."

Marie is still exploring.

"That's... kinda worrying."

"A lot, but not the same. Still, I agrrrree."

The inn is heavily engraved and open, with an active fire. Very warm. The fire is cyan. The alternate Maries find nothing, the place seemingly incapable of properly handling that many duplicates of one person.

"Sounds like a good idea, Marcus. "
He takes out a worn tablet looking device, and... starts watching some old shows.

((Wut? Also, technically, none of them are Marie and the Marie you saw wasn't Marie either. She just turned off her illusion-form and duplicated the projected thing that does the seeing and hearing and so forth. ))

Marie searches more. Wheeee~

The original Marie gets bombarded my so many senses. She gets to see all the different colors at once, hear all the different sounds at once, feel all the different pains and pleasures, smell and taste all the different scents and tastes at once, and feel all the emotions at once.

Allie sits by the fire and warms up.
"We'll be found sooner or later. All this evidence of life coming back to the city doesn't mean nothing."

Basically: Marie was never really there, but waaaaaaay over where Davi is. Instead, she uses a projected sensor (think like a little floating eye observer spell) to give her...well, senses, as well as a base to cast from. Then she projects an illusionary form over that spot and voila, Marie is everywhere. If Marie wants to check out multiple places at once, she simply uses more of the aforementioned sensor projections.
