Ixion is beginning to flicker. Richard is gasping for breath, despite the healing.

The skeletal figure switches from using energy to hitting the group with barrage after barrage of arrows.

Richard switches to Galahad in the hope he resists this.

Thera stops shelling, instead opting to repair. Can it heal faster than it takes damage? ...answer: yes. But not by much.

Maria is still healing.

"I hear the ocean again. Perhaps it's the sound of my savior."

James fires, despite the likely futility of doing so.

Ariana silently follows along.

"I hope so!"

Galahad is attempting to slash at the figure, but to no avail.

He then attempts to blast it with light. Not only does it fizzle out, but the figure LAUGHS at it and blasts the entire group with lightning.

Richard grits his teeth and collapses to his knees.

James' attack, as with pretty much everyone elses, hurts it a bit but not enough to be visible.

James moves over to help Richard up, stowing his rifle and taking out his revolver on the way over.

Richard shakes his head and gets himself up.

Galahad continues slashing at it, but the skeletal figure laughs and returns to pummelling the team with pure energy.

"Lucas, can you try breaking this open?"
Allie hands her axe to Lucas.

James shrugs and resumes firing.
"This isn't looking good. In any way, shape or form."

"Indeed."

The skeletal figure stops blasting energy, before glaring at James and glowing.

James begins to feel a sap on his energy and will to live.

Maria keeps healing, groaning. Thera begins to fire cannonballs at the figure again, possibly hitting Galahad if he's foolish enough to be in the way.

"Agh, does nothing work on this thing? We should just run a-"

"Nonsense! A knight never flees from the battle!"

This latter statement is accompanied by a fierce-looking woman in an armored sailor's uniform appearing, wearing a sabre and an enormous banner on her back that's emblazoned with the same cross as Maria's book. She promptly plants the banner into the ground.

"Certainly not against this weak sireless little bastard! Look at him! He's already dead! And I'll bet his mother was a hamster! His sister was a mermaid, too!"

...Somehow, this manages to be demoralizing. Well, the fact that magic is involved may have something to do with it. Maria, for her part, seems encouraged.

Santa Anna used Taunt! (Attack Down, Accuracy Down)

((Fun fact: Mermaid has been historically used as a slur that more or less means the same as 'slut' at least once. Don't ask me why, because it makes no sense to me either.))

"Right."
He unfolds the rifle, set to kinetics.
"Assuming there are Survivors, and they haven't developed a way to not need to breath, have a heart beat, or give off body heat, I'll be able to detect them."
He then Rips the door apart, flinging it inward.
(( Perhaps that guys father smelled of Elderberries, too!))

He keeps on firing, but noticeably slower.

The skeletal figure laughs at the newcomer's attempt to weaken him.

"Soooooooo.....you think yooooou can take me.......traitor of our kiiiiiiinnn?"

He cackles before slashing everything in the area thrice. Hard.

Richard is nearly downed by the attack, and Galahad flickers out.

((Mermaids were often dreamed up by lonely sailors at sea, and they most likely were dugongs or manatees. That's probably why they used it as a synonym for slut.))

The door completely fails to rip apart, actually. Just a tiny scratch.
"I was hoping you would use my axe so we could close the door, but..."
