Richard notices the person and Marie.

"Err."

The person rapidly steps back and draws their weapon of choice, a spear... then calms down a bit realizing that Marie isn't an actual threat.
_{"Hmm, not hollowed. At least, not any kind I've ever seen."}
The person relaxes a bit. The person as it turns out is a young woman, wearing an old, torn robe covered with numerous pouches and pocket and a long flowing hooded cloak. Most of her face is obscured by a ragged scrap of cloth and the aforementioned cloak. "...Hello."

[Twi]

"What's a hollowed?~"

Marie tilts her head, intrigued.


Meanwhile, Maria leans out over the railing from above, having been walking about earlier.

She blinks a bit, then starts climbing down.

[SomeStupidGuy]

She pulls the cloth covering her mouth down, to speak more clearly. "Humans, cursed to come back as the undead. It leaves them... insane. Generally, to the point of being incapable of doing much more than violence."

[Twi]

"Well, isn't that a thing of beauty.

Anyways, I'm Marie. I make you scared."

She cracks a wry grin.

[SomeStupidGuy]

She smiles back, rather joylessly. "Ariana, of Astora."

[Twi]

Marie sighs.

"Oh, you're doing it wrong... ^{Oh, come on! What is it now?!?}"

She grimaces and promptly vanishes, leaving Maria behind where she used to be. The knight seems remarkably unsurprised.

"...Well then."

[SomeStupidGuy]

Ariana looks curiously at Maria while returning her spear to its spot on her back. "Greetings?"

[Twi]

Maria sighs and clears her throat.

"_{That gremlin makes everything awkward...}"

She pauses, then does a respectful bow.

"My name is Maria, healer of the Knights Hospitaller. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

[SomeStupidGuy]

Ariana pays Maria the same respect and lightly bows. "The same to you. If you didn't hear me before, I am Ariana."

[Twi]

At about this point, Krieg walks out onto the deck and starts listening.

Maria nods. "I see. Very well. What brings you to this place?"

"Come on, you idiot, you already know that. Always the same reason."

Krieg promptly jumps down all the way from the deck to the ground, landing on her feet with a CRASH!, further serving as petty annoyance to a now mildly disgruntled Maria. She gets back up to a standing position seemingly unharmed by the maneuver.

"So, what do you do, stranger? Can you fight?"

[SomeStupidGuy]

"I can't say I like to, but I'm able to use a spear well and I'm somewhat skilled at sorcery..."

[Twi]

"Sorcery? Elaborate."



Maria steps to the side a bit, away from Krieg.

[Vorthon]

Kwyk walks over to the newcomer, sniffing the air

"And what do we have here? Another new arrival?"

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Sorcery? Elaborate."

"Just a moment." She retrieves a thin long metallic stave from her pack. She inhales heavily, raising the stave, firing a bolt of energy at empty space.
"I know sorceries other than that, most aren't combative, though."

"And what do we have here? Another new arrival?"

She looks questioningly at Kwyk. "Oh, hello."
