James smiles widely. "Ooh, mind if I come?"

Richard takes out his cricket bat.

"Quiet. The Shadows like to jump you."

[Twi]

"Of course they do. What else would th-"

"So you're level grinding against some fellow nightmares, eh? Let me come along and I'll show them who's the scariest girl in town, even from across the world!"

Marielusion pops into existence, staring at Richard and grinning.
Well, it doesn't look quite the same. Marielusion appears to be imitating this particular fanart of Flandre. Except half-zombie, of course.

Maria: Heading to forest.
Krieg: In Maria/Krieg's room.
Camille: Sleeping in forgeroom.
Marie:Pestering.

Just as that happens, five Shadows appear.

They appear to be giant, muscular humanoids, dressed as wrestlers, with masks like all the other Shadows.

[Twi]

"Well, not quiiite, buuuut. Let's see what they're made of!"

Marielusion jumps onto one of the Shadows and proceeds to try to get into its head like everyone else.

Meanwhile, Maria smirks and triggers the evoker, summoning the massive clockwork dragon again.

"Alright... Time for a field test. Crush them!"

Thera promptly (unless it has summoning sickness, as professionals say) charges at one of the Shadows.

"Finally using this thing on something that isn't a tree."
James flips his zappy rifle off of his back, firing a surge of electricity at a shadow.

The Shadow, of course, just hurls Marie off of it.

"Ixion!"

The alicorn flashes into existence and zaps one.

Thera is injured by her own charge, and the Shadow seems to be unharmed.

Another one is injured by James' attack.

[Twi]

Maria winces.

"Should have known better.  Alright, plan two. Blow them away!"

Thera hops backwards and beats its wings furiously, sending powerful wind in the general direction of the Shadow.


"Oh come on! You and me could be like brother and sister!"

Marie whips up an illusion of another Thera attacking them from behind, similarly to how she's doing it now.

The Shadow is knocked down by the gust.

Marie's attack fails epically.

James fires on the shadow again, ignoring the slight buildup of heat on the rifle.

[Twi]

Encouraged, Maria lets Thera do the attack again, blowing gusts of wind around and taking down a few trees in the process. It's...not very accurate.


Marie, on the other hand, isn't actually attacking anything, but hey. She tries another illusion on it -the glow of a Persona being released, formed, whatever happens when Persona users first get their Personas- off in the distance.

The Shadows are concentrated on killing this group, regardless of various illusions.

Four Shadows are downed by Thera's onslaught, and one is severely weakened by the blast.

Ixion blasts electricity at several, neighing.

The Shadow James fires on is annoyed, and it rushes at him, punching him with a large fist.

[Twi]

Maria just sits back and uses the same strategy again. It seems to be working quite well after all, despite it's imprecision.

Marie sighs and goes back to trying to get into the Shadow's heads. Or minds, rather.

James gets hit by the shadow's blow, he responds with a few slashes with his saber in an attempt to force it backwards and away from him.
