Camille rescues Alith from the kittens and brings him inside.

Alith coughs out some kitten fur.

Meanwhile, a cry of NYAAAAA can be heard outside.

Camille cringes and closes the door behind them.

"Grrrreat...just grrreat."

"Bloody hell. I can't even go hunting without some pig shit to keep 'em off me."

Alith starts brushing the fur off his clothing.

"Yes, yes, we know, we know, so verrry trrragic."

Camille chuckles and goes to the kitchen to cook herself some food.

Alith glares at Camille.

"Try being piled on by kittens every time you so much as make a misstep."

[Twi]

"But you see, Alith, I can rrrun verrry fast.

And besides, it doesn't sound half bad!"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Not. When. It. Happens. Every. Bloody. Day.

And I can climb trees, jump from tree to tree, etc, etc. It just doesn't help to do so when hunting and tracking."

"Maybe, maybe. Now shut up and eat pizza."

Camille forces a slice of pepperoni pizza into his possession.

Alith mumbles, then eats the pizza.

"What is this, precisely?"

"Pizza! Well, a slice of pizza, to be prrrecise. One of the most wonderrrful dishes in existence.~"

Camille ignores the knocking.

"Seconded. I want to know what this is made of. I'll probably bring it with me back home, if we ever do return."

And why are there so many kittens outside? They're mewling like mad."

"Well, it's basically brrread that you thrrrow stuff on top of and cook to perrrfection. ...I guess the cooking isn't strrrictly necessarrry, but it tends to help. Cheese and tomato sauce arrre morrre orrr less the default toppings.

..Blame Alith. He's like a magnet forrr those things."
