"Ok, Kejeera. There's a reason I don't want any of you trying to scratch up the place we're on. Camille, the sciency cat-lady, is very protective of her ship. Damaging it will bring out all of her wrath. Now, are any of you hungry?"

Camillle pokes back into the cat-area.

"Yes, yes! No scrrratches!"

Allie starts carving a figurine.

Lucas decides to modify/create a medbay on the ship.

There is indeed a medbay to modify, though it's somewhat primitive, understandably.

The figurine is scrapped. It wasn't turning out so well and Allie stabbed herslf in the side working on it.
"Ow!"

As the medbay modification is nearly finished, He hurries over to the hive, where he retrieves a small pile of blueish-white metal bars, which he hurries back with, coating the walls and floor with it.
"Okay, Kalenium plating is good to go. Should make it about 30-40% more sanitary."
Meanwhile, Cath is still playing with a Catchild.

Maria hears Allie and comes over.

"Are you alright?"

The children, now adjusted, begin to split up around the ship. Eight of them find a larger, empty room, and begin practicing with wooden weapons.

"Anything fun happen while I was out?"

Lucas walks into the common room, and notices James.
"Not much, James. I renovated the medbay here, and the cats are now awake."
