Failing to find any showers at all, Barth sighs and gets back to his room, taking the bag from his back and separating the fruit and the edible roots from the rest of the contents then separating the fruit and roots themselves in different bundles.

He finishes the process of pulling off the icicles from his face, rests his back against the bed he left Ke on and drifts into a nap near her. He seems happy, if slightly tired.

Lucas drifts off into sleep, having a nightmare, about a blackened rock, filled with dead people, and... A massive orb, like a miniature star, forming tendrils, connecting from the orb itself to some still living people. The people are screaming.
