It's nowhere near the shelter.

The rest of the creature's body is pulled from the pool, and it suddenly lets go of the snakegirl, lifting it's head. It has a female shape, and the upper half of a human. At least, a human composed of blue liquid. It's hair streams back behind it, and it's glowing eyes look towards the three. It's lower body is that of a serpent. Not really a surprise. It fluidly dodges the sword strikes, avoiding the pool.

"Finally... Sssstupid trap!"

Ke looks to Barth, the creature's eyes glowing slightly as she is quite suddenly calmed.

"Th.. Thank you... Barth.."

Meanwhile, the slime creature continues to back away from the slashes, before lifting itself up. Outside of the pool, it appears to be amorphous, and four long strands lash out to grab Pendragon, seeking to immobilize her swordarm.

"I will not be sssslain ssssso closssse to my hope!"

She snarls, and coils as the distracting tentacles are cut. Then she leaps towards the air, curling around one of the branches.

Bryan lets out one hell of shriek, vaguely similar to a Mountain Lion's scream, as the thing leaped at the tree. Which he happened to be hiding under. He takes off, sprinting away from the tree, only to hide behind Richard.
