She comes back, and Cath bursts into laughter at the sight of Luca, but then She is pretty much buried under a pile of Veils. She pokes her head out, and she walks out of the pile, turning into a small rabbit.
"Now you know how I feel, Cath."

Maria is still a lizard, and finds Diaeke (and Barth) in the clearing. She has even more veils now.

"Oh hi!"

Luca finds a few finished veilshot/Veil in a can Canisters, and carefully puts them with the others. And then she falls asleep.

James flies over to the clearing, still carrying the veils.
"Hey, guys. Check it out. First actually cool effect I've gotten from the veils."

[Cassandra]

She smiles.

"Place them there, and we can start experiments... Possibly some to restore you, as well. And thank you, Barth."8

[Twi]

Maria puts down the Veils in the designated area.

"I'm tired, mind if I rest here a bit?"

[Caellath]

"Hey!" he says, waving briefly before returning to his task with the wooden swords. "And no problem, Diaena. Also, we need to talk later."

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Experiments?"
He drops off the veils and lands.

[Cassandra]

She nods to Barth and Maria, before looping a glowing tentacle around one of the veils. She tilts her head, experimentally using it on James to see the effect.

[SomeStupidGuy]

"Hey, wa-"
He becomes a little kid and frowns.
"I miss my wings."

[Cassandra]

She passes it back through him to revert the effects.

[Caellath]

Barth moves a little away to keep working on the wooden weapons without being transformed in something. "I'll be here if you need me."

Of course, being test subject isn't included in the "needing" part.
