"Already tried that. Recordings/transmissions produce, at best, a tingling."

"I'm sure you'll survive. I mean, didn't some of those drugs have side effects that tended to leave you as some kind of leper?"
James pulls down on his rabbit ears.
"I wonder how painful it would be to cut these off?"

"Maria can heal/regenerate wounds on other people, can't she?"

I guess so. Just Don't count on me being able to use it often.
Her right eye's pupil seems to rotate as this is said.

"Something pretty. Flowers. I'm not experienced with planting things, but something small and blue flowered would look nice in it. And then the unfortunate tree can support another plant's life."

Camille smiles and nods.

"You'll have to wait a while forrr the good verrrsion to get synched up. On the plus side, it's instantaneous, has theorrretically infinite rrrange, and cannot be interrrferrred with in any way that I know of. It's what I use to keep in touch with Davi."

She gets to work on another of those sets.

Bartholomew stares off at the trees. "I'd ask her why she's slithering now, but I saw those veils at work. I wonder if she's still nearby or if she's at a safe distance."

"Oh, 'safe' distance, hehehe. It sounds like I'll try something wrong." the medic chuckles lightly, eyeing Diaeke.

"I heard that. Don't make me smite you!" Maria calls playfully.

"Perhaps we should ask if she kept the veil. It might restore the little one to her old body."

"Do you have any seeds for what I'm thinking of?"

Viktor, Wait outside. It'll only be a few minutes.
The robot blinks a light, and rolls out of the ship.

"Yes, but we'll leave her be for now, she must be tired." he says, getting back to stare at the point Maria's voice had came from. He wonders if she is acting as a keeper of morals and good habits just in case.

And basically, to avoid anything sexual from happening between them, he supposes. Not that he'd try anything...His gaze shifts back to Diaeke before moving to Ke and he smiles.

Maria has more or less gotten the hang of her tail, and now tries to hang from a tree with it. Much to her own surprise, she manages it.

"Hey! This is actually pretty cool!"

...Then the branch breaks and she falls.

"Ow."

She gets back up, hardly deterred.
