Two are knocked down by the cryolasers.

Ixion rears and blasts another Shadow with lightning.

Maria's charge surprises the remaining standing Shadow, where it responds with making a circle of light appear under Maria.

Camille keeps it up.

Maria moves out of the circle of light and continues to slash, pierce, and crush the Shadow until she figures out which one is most effective and sticks with it.

None of the physical attacks seem to be more effective.

One Shadow is killed by the cryoblast, and the other is near death.

Richard continues commanding Ixion, who blasts the near-dead one with lightning, killing it.

The remaining Shadow is hailed by the volley of bullets.

Maria feels slightly weird from the circle of light, but escapes unharmed.

James unsheathes his sabre and moves in to attack the last one.

[Twi]

Maria shrugs and just keeps at it.

Camille continues the process of freezing things to death!

The last Shadow dies, but the trees behind it fall apart.

A levitating, masked woman appears from it. She appears to be divided into two halves, one black, one white.

"Crap."

[Twi]

"This one's stronger, I imagine?"

Maria fearlessly engages in close-quarters-combat!

Camille cryoblasts the masked woman as well.

James runs over to the mask woman, weapon raised for a horizontal slash.

The woman....blocks the ice blast.

And sends it back at Camille.

Maria's ferocious barrage does some damage to it.

Ixion vanishes, to be replaced by a human male in armor, with a winged helmet, a sword and shield.

"Time to test out Galahad!"

[Twi]

Camille dodges, and ponders.

^{"Hey, if this was the one doing ice blasts...then... Hey Marrria! Trrry the flamethrrrower again!"}

She switches to normal, hot laser and tries that.

Maria, however, is as of yet unconvinced and quite happy to physically assault the woman.

The woman responds by hurling ice at everyone.

Galahad ignores the ice, and slices into the woman, injuring it.

The laser does no extra damage than it usually would.

[Twi]

Camille dodges the ice again and continues shooting.

Maria is like, 'you want to throw ice at me?' and just twists herself a bit to dodge before getting back to her ferocious attack. Again, the knight in presence seems to give her a little extra spirit.~

Galahad and Maria's ferocious slashing manages to injure it badly, but it responds by hurling a strange, purple burst at everyone.

James dodges the ice, but gets hit by the purple burst.

[Twi]

Camille runs the hell out of the way of the aforementioned purple burst.

Maria, meanwhile, is still right up in it's face and kind of hard to aim at. So.. she does her best to dodge. She may or may not succeed.

But she doesn't let up on it either way.
