give Delldye a project

I know I'm going to regret asking, but losing is fun, so...

I've got a new embark, Delldye, in a fairly hospitable clime. Thus-far all my fortresses have been all about surviving safely and have therefore gotten a bit dull and I eventually forgot about them.

What should I do with this one instead?

Destroy the mountain from the ground up is my first bet. Then build a stronghold in the center of the rubble, extending the entire way up.

Well, butts. I got a Fey Mood earlier than expected and the mason's demanding metal bars when I haven't even got the furnaces built yet.

I mean I guess artifacts DO count as projects... and I WOULD like to have legendary dwarves in every skill...

Learn how to run industries you didn't even know existed or fears. Well, if those don't exists, sell wax crafts /joke :D

What does Delldye translates to?

Have your dwarves not go insane because you forgot to set up the clothing industry :|

Seriously, naked dwarves and the military are the most difficult bits of dwarf fortress for me.

You're right, I had to look up dell after double-checking checking the language, it's a word for valley. Which's funny because my original joke suggestion was to sell dye to traders, then I figured wax crafts was sillier.

Though it's not that much of challenge to sell dye or dyed clothes money-wise.
