Tail armor finangling
« on: October 26, 2012, 02:18:07 pm »

So, I recently decided to try my hand at creating a creature. I've been following the instructions on the wiki, and pretty much have everything up and running, including the civilization and playability in adventure mode.

One problem, though. My creature is more or less a snakeman, and is using a legless body type. Try as I might, I can't seem to figure out a way to allow armor on the tail. Shoes, even modded ones, appear to be unequippable, and from what I've read body armour has no effect on tails with the [STANCE] tag (IE, tails used as a means of locomotion). Does anyone know if it's possible to have some kind of tail barding that works on tails with the [STANCE] tag?

Assuming it is possible, i'd also appreciate any advice people can give on how to make such an armour piece a common uniform element on soldiers of this species.

Thanks!

as long as you have [LIMB]'s all the way from the [LOWERBODY] to the [STANCE] they will be covered by pants and [LBSTEP:MAX] items
