There was a whole scandal recently about unsafe cranes collapsing and hitting buildings. I live near the second avenue subway (currently the largest construction progect in the US) and there are cranes all over there. SHIT SHIT SHIT.

Most of the woods been chainsawed and shoved in that trailer to the right (I should have taken a picture before the cleanup started or during the chainsawing, but meh), and the power lines were wrapped up and safely stored in our rose bush. For some reason. Not my idea.

1511: There are 3,500 residents left with no way off the island, after a road connecting to the mainland was closed earlier on Monday. The water is reported to be 3ft (90cm) deep in some places and there is no emergency shelter on the island. Officials imposed a noon curfew and have told everyone to stay indoors.
