TURN 54 IS UPIf you want to be waitlisted send a PM; posts in this thread will be ignored.RulesThere will be a character limit of 6 or so players.
It’ll probably be a pretty brutal Roll To Dodge and kept mostly within the realms of physics.
Some cases of cartoon physics will be fine, but only if it is awesome enough.
Your scenario is prepared but each character’s situation will be different, determined by dice.
A turn will most likely occur once a day or once every player has put in an action.
Almost all actions will be on a standard d6
2 Actions per turn
SettingTechnology is approximately 15th to mid 16th century and below, primitive firearms will be available throughout the adventure. Though I ask that any participants please vote whether or not they would like a different start for good and evil alignments, if so, neutral will get to choose which start they would like, starting turns will take longer if I have to develop an evil and good start though afterward, players will be free to do as they choose, but there will be a storyline should anyone wish to follow it.
Starting ScenarioYou are on an empty battlefield after being drafted by King Kemar Each character will be wounded (decided by dice rolls) and will have to continue from there. There are soldiers corpses all around and basically you just have to survive from there.
Dice RollsDice rolls will work in the classic fashion though simple actions, such as walking will not have a dice roll. There are some cases though, were they will: Ex1. If walking through a forest/in bad weather/through a crowd etc. a dice roll will be in order. Ex2. Picking up an object will not yield a dice roll unless the character is in combat/blinded etc. In some cases, multiple dice rolls will be used for what I consider to be multiple actions.
CombatCombat will be based around a system of aimed and random attacks. Aimed attacks will require a slightly higher dice roll to pull off 100% successfully whereas random attacks will have a dice roll to determine between legs/torso/arms/head, 1, 2, 3, and 4 on a d4. Combat rolls are basically a matter of attacker vs. defender plus any bonuses or weaknesses.
Wounds---------
Light Bleeding: 10 healing points.
Fracture: Requires medical attention and 20 healing points.
Heavy Bleeding: Requires medical attention and 20 healing points.
Very Heavy Bleeding: Requires skilled medical attention and 30 healing points.
Broken Limb: Requires skilled medical attention, then 40 healing points.
Missing Limb: Never heals, obviously.
---------
You make a healing roll each turn after an injury has been sustained; the amount you roll is added to your healing points, and the wound disappears when you have enough. For major wounds (anything above light bleeding), you can't make healing rolls until you've received the appropriate medical attention.
MagicMagic can be learned though it is very difficult; having magical abilities at the start means you will have to choose between -1 to hit with melee or a general weakness to damage, this can be offset through some traits though.
OtherTraits are earned through the game and will earn various bonuses and weaknesses.

Knowing that guns required much less training than other weapons, Lory signed up. He built up a career of being a quick musketeer. Even without any hint of nobility, save for a slight connection to a certain barony, Lory was soon promoted to an officer of this new brigade, carrying his gun with authority.

Alignment: Pragmatic Good
Magic:
Wild MagicAppearance: Big around 8-9 feet, looks like an unusually small, quick, and smart ogre.
Age: 15
Background: Gweg was a child who never knew his parents. He didn't need to, as it turns out. By the time his memories begin, he was living on his own, stealing bread and supplementing it with rats. By the time he was 7 (or so), he was almost as big as a full-grown human, and got conscripted into a noble's army for a holy war. He hated the war but the faith soaked in. He resolved to try to live a better life, and since has become one of the best mercenaries around. Sadly, everything else has suffered, all but his morals. He's tried to keep them from slipping away with the rest of his life, but slowly is growing aware of how this might soon become impossible....

General MagicAppearance: Groz is a very creepy-looking, thin dwarf. He has wispy beard things on his chin, eyes that shift color when you look at them, and a scary expression. Did I mention his face looks like a skull?
Age: 250
Backstory: Groz was studying one day in Dwarf Magic university when he realized that he was wasting his time. Why do this writing by hand when he could depose the gods and create a world where dwarfs have innate telekenisis? So far, he's only killed 3 high priests, and he figured he might as well join this army thing. Groz is rather impulsive.

Name: Xarius
Race: Minotaur
Gender: Male
Traits:
Quick on His Feet;
Squishy WizardOccupation/Role: Outcast.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (May or may not develop to Evil)
Magic:
NecromancyAppearance: Six feet, four inches in height. Relatively small for a Minotaur. Brown fur that he has dyed with coal dust to a mottled gray. He is missing his left horn.
Age: Forty-five. Roughly nineteen in human years.
Backstory: Always a curious youth, Xarius found himself in a library or obscure ruin more often than working in a forge or doing battle with other tribes. This was a great dishonor to his father who barely tolerated him as is, being as his other brothers grew to be what his father wanted. He was exiled from his tribe at age twenty once he discovered the secrets of live and death and chose to delve into this dark world, chopping off his own horn in the process to be used as a reagent. He was always a target of his more strong and athletic kin, and had to learn to hide and run to avoid broken bones and daily torment. He was captured by King Kemar's soldiers trying to break into a tomb for research, his conscription was his prison sentence.
User: TacticalUnicorn
Name: Calenmiriel
Race: Wood Elf
Gender: Female
Traits:
Experienced Huntress;
She-Elf Occupation/Role: Self Employed to make a few coins here and there, otherwise just a lone elf in the woods.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Appearance: She is 5 feet tall, and weighs only 105 pounds. She has long, messy brown hair seeing as it isn't usually washed. She would have a fair face if it weren't usually dirty. Her eyes are a deep green color.
Age: 167
Backstory: Ever since she was a child, Calenmiriel has been solitary and indifferent. She never agreed with the petty, peace-keeper attitude, nor the snobby, higher-being attitude of her kin. She was quickly bored of their ancient traditions and lifestyles and when she was old enough to take care of herself and became disruptive of the elven community she was apart of, she left, seeking adventure and solitude. Living on her own for such a long time she doesn't talk much, besides with the animals, and lacks social skills with other humanoids. Her timidity and reclusive behavior, also gives her a jumpy, somewhat unpredictable attitude that can be seen as threatening.

Name: Krzcewski
Race: Goblin

Traits:
Pacifist;
Smooth;
Small and Weak;
PerceptiveOccupation: Plainclothes Goblin Investigator
Alignment: Neutral Good
Magic:
Telepathic SuggestionAppearance: A short, olive-skinned, bald humanoid with pointed ears, rather unimpressive and nondescript, almost savage face and very, very poor posture. That is, when in public. In private (out of disguise) he stands just as tall as a noble would, and exudes an air of competence.
Age: 32
Backstory: Krzcewski loves his job. He gets to obtain information, feign ignorance in front of stupid people and feel smart afterwards. Really, he lives to do his job, find out secrets and seem very much like an uncivilized, uncultured goblin in front of various philistines that consider someone like him not worth even a single look. Well, joke's on them when he makes his weekly report of any suspicious activity he sees to the authorities. He gets to vent his frustrations and do a little good. He strongly objects to the use of violence, believing it to be inefficient and contrary to upholding the law.

After that she swore revenge for her village, and started hunting them down like animals with her bow and arrow.
