Now that i'm rolling a purple drill, a minigun, and titanium armor, i'm going to start working on my obscenely huge and fast ship to travel to even bigger Hemorrhoids and get enough purple crap to make armor.

Something that may be awesome if to have "solar systems" that are actually player-hosted servers that can be accessed by flying to their location in the galaxy.

Only problem is when people shut down the servers.

Just a thought, even if it's not that practical.

Somebody mentioned mining with ship cannons.
But as far as i can tell shooting blocks just destroys them.
Is there any way to mine with your ship? or do you have to do it all by hand?

When people say 'mining with my ship' they mean blasting through all the stone to get to the good stuff.

EDIT: I now have Purple armor, and have begun work on a very, very, massive titanium ship. Right now it weights a good 36 tons, and thats just HALF of the main engines.
I think 8 Standard Ion Rockets is overkill, but meh.

With the supplies you've got, you should probably go for ion engines and whatnot.  Hydrogen is nice, but it's low tech.

Also keep in mind that you've got your powdered blocks as well - take thulium or redium and process it into powder, then sprinkle powder over an existing block to increase its strength without increasing its weight.  A Thulium-Iron block isn't as strong as titanium, but it isn't as heavy either.  It's also bright green, which is fun.

Pfffh. You're talking to the guy who put four heavy thrusters and a standard rocket on a dingy little 40 ton ship. It accelerates to max speed in only seven seconds.
