Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Dont care about me. I really am noone important. I dont do anything important for anyone, and I never have, and probably never will.

I got a text saying nothing decriptive and I inflated it to the point of contempating comiting suicide to save my family the trouble of having to deal with more then burying me.

Heh, I've had that sentiment when I was younger.  Never did see a shrink about it, but yea... I suppose that is the recommended course of action these days.
Though, there may be a few mental hurdles you gotta get over...

I talked to a sad people today, one had people dieing in his extended family, another sad person got broke into for the second time in a months time, and found out more people are having the same problem as me, it made me feel quite happy actually... Nobody is dead in my family that I know or would care about, and I've never been robbed by strangers, and I'm not one of the people who died in a hurricane, all in all I feel better about things.

I dont care if that means I'm soulless as well as unimportant, I feel good about not having bad luck.

EVERYONE STOP GIVING ADVICES ABOUT ARGUING AND DEBATING AND STUFF

Dude! It's okay to feel good when you see someone in a worse situtation. Realizing there are people who are in a worse situtation than you is comforting. You feel that you aren't in a bad situtation as you would believe. You aren't soulless, we all do this, first stage of empathy. You can't feel empathy without the existance of apathy. Okay, this is getting a little difficult to explain. Look, we all watch news on the TV all the time and mostly it's bad news. We are used to it. When the reporter says "30 people died in a place someone you don't care about. Back to you x." we just think "Eh, something like that would never happen to me." We act like we don't have the ability to experience a car accident or an earthquake. If we didn't live like that, we would go crazy. I don't know about you but I don't have energy to feel bad whenever I witness something bad. Unless you decide to call yourself Hitler II or something, you aren't soulless.

And this unimportant thing, you couldn't be more wrong. You don't do anything important for anyone? That's bullshit. Even if you don't really have an effect on the life of anyone (including your family) at least you don't have a negative effect on the lives of people. I knew seriously fucked up people who were considered a piece of meat that uses up oxygen and takes up space. And if you think nobody cares about you, well... what about your family? WTF AM I DOING HERE THEN?

Not sure if said,

But when I get into debates, 1:Stay calm, you dont know these people
2:Know your knowledge, I constantly say "No, your wrong about x!" when really Im the wrong person.
and 3:Make sure to stay on balance, its not a debate if one person is "stronger" then the other, the true winner is the person who makes the most sense and has the best points, not who has the most people agreeing with them.

Good luck ^_^
