      You peek through the half-open door, pistool in hand. It is very dark, but you manage to spot the two shuttles, apparently unharmed. And a monster, identical to the previous, jumping through the wall with all the natural grace of a zero-gravity predator.
      Wait, through the wall?
      A more attentive look show a huge gaping hole in said wall. You even catch a glimpse of some stars through it... Anyway, the newcomer pay no attention to you and begin to look around. Until another monster come from behind the farthest shuttle and snarl at him (still in silence: in fact it is showing its fangs and raising luminescent collar.). Both seems to engage in a territorial dispute.

Wait for them to finish fighting, then kill them.

      While you wonder if you should wait for them to finish, the newcomer is forced back to the portside hangar by the "local resident", although it upset you to think of a space monster as a "local resident" in your spaceship. And wih a bit of anger, you squeeze past the door (couldnt open it fully, probably some debris blocking it) and shoot at the monster. The first shot take off an arm, but the second miss. Unluckily, the thing quickly stop bleeding and skitter behind the shuttle, barely hindered by the loss of a limb.

      In retrospection, entering the room was a bad idea. You retreat the few meters separating you from the door you just entered and hide behind it, then wait for the monster to reappear so you can shoot it.
      You wait for a moment, then you notice something moving in the periphery of your vision. The beast! It is on the ceiling! (it's adapted to 0-g, you should have expected something like this...) Anyway, just shoot it! Again, you're lucky and your first shot blast its torso (the second further damage the ceiling, but no big deal.).

      You once again enter the room, for this time it s empty of monsters. The hole in the wall you'd want to repair, but... Yeah, it is faaaiiirly large. Like, what, two meters wide? maybe three? Through it you can see the starboard hangar, and it's not a pretty sight. The whole door side and two thirds of the ceiling have been ripped open. You can see the stars through it. One of the shuttles is there, although badly damaged (is that an engine floating around?), and the other is... Well outside, in space. Just there in fact, slowly spinning, split in halves. You don't think you can fix that with polysprayite...
      You can spot a few monsters jumping around in or near the starboard hangar. A handful of pebbles pass near you. Some dark forms lazily cross the background of stars. It's hard to see, but it's certainly asteroids. No wonder the ship is so damaged. (this is star-wars like field, not RL. RL asteroid fields are boooring.) The computer (which you can link with radio) is clueless about them. Never encountered before. (not that you'd know, really, your civilisation cannot travel faster than light. All planets are quite isolated from each other.)
      Anyway, the sensor room is just behind the next door. If you cant fix the communication line (that was inside the wall), at least you can get some readings and get a crude idea of where the hell you are. Unless you have some other idea, who knows.

(sorry for late answer  ::))

      Well, fixing the com line would need half a dozen clones and a couple days... Which you don't have. So you sprint toward the sensors room, shooting anything that got in your way (that is, nothing this time).
      Entering the sensors room, you close the door behind you. The room is plunged in darkness, but your flashlight reveal nothing threatening. The consoles lined up against the wall all bear marks of damage. They are all non-functioning. However, a quick inspection show that you could retrieve functioning parts from differents consoles to repair one. There is far enough pieces for that.
      Checking the emergency generator, you find it damaged as well: some wires cut, a couple pieces dislodged and a few holes. You think it might be repairable.
      The sensors themselves don't fare better: your wire pulse-checker reveal that most of them are out. The external antennaes might have been broken, but it might also be some internal components being disabled (in which case you can fix it).

      SO! What do you do first?
-repair a console
-repair the emergency generator
-fix a couple sensors

      You need all three to have a reading. (note that the most expert techno-babble you give me, the better you do ;D)
