Hand 3 rations to the goblin then set about using the hides and logs to build a tent as big and sturdy as possible that can be dismantled and carried around, eat a ration and also tell the rest of the group that you would like to speak to everybody come nightfall, smell various things through the day and give the results to Urgo.
Gobush, in his excitement flat-out refuses your offer of food and continues to chatter away while pointing at Lena and Urgo. You’re slightly offended but decide that maybe he ate during his journey.
Your building skills are decent enough to build a Large Tent. While a large humanoid could sleep cramped, a medium sized will sleep well enough, whereas 2 will be uncomfortable but it still beats sleeping outside. You celebrate by eating a serving of your kills.
You inform the group that you would like to discuss something come nightfall and that they should not leave the camp until tomorrow.
You smell various things. You do not notice a particularly large increase in most smells. Although it may be because you’ve had all night to grow adjusted to the new smells. Odd.
[You lose 4 logs and 6 hides.]
See what is wrong with Gobush
You search for enemies but there are none. However your concern over-powers you logical mind for several moments. As you feel Urgo’s magic start working you begin to pick out words “Warchief! Warchief!” He states this several times over until he realizes your understanding him “I have found band! You are Warchief now! Is small but good! I bring?” It would appear that he’s found more goblins that find Nishi’s rule undesirable. “Think! Think! For tonight decide?”
You agree to answer him tonight and ask about his wound.
It is only then that he appears to notice it “Oh this? Is small. Warchief needed information. I…” Here he pauses and cringes “I fail to hunt food. Bear come. Not share. I… Sorry.”
[You learn about a Band of Goblins.]
Go scavenging for Feathers
You spend the day searching for feathers. Luckily you find seven of the bastards. Just perfect for arrows.
[You find 7 feathers.]
Use translation spell on Lena and me, then go talk to Gobush. Ask what happened if Lena doesn't bother to say anything to Gobush. Continue to study Leon enhance smell, discuss with him a on how his sense of smell is and is he OK; if he is fine enhance his hearing.
You listen to Gobush’s stories while you try to decide what to do. Unfortunately it seems like it doesn’t seem like your intervention is necessary.
You discuss with Leon the enhancements you made. Oddly they seem to have made no effect. Perhaps it wasn’t strong enough? Maybe his brains started to adapt the extra sensory prowess away? Maybe he just grew inoculated to the new spells over-night? To be safe you decide to enhance his hearing as he won’t be asleep for several hours. Hopefully change will be easier to catalogue now.
[You gained some information but more questions were raised.]
Night descends as the group convenes as per Leon’s request. Obviously he wishes to discuss something that cannot wait until morning. Gobush’s story weighs heavily on Lena’s mind. Should she bring it up with the others? And what of Gobush himself? What of the Bear his story mentions? What of this small band of Goblins? What you do now?Name : Leon.

Backround: Gobush was once a well known butcher in Nishi Village but his dislike of the destructive nature of his old Warchief caused his downfall. He is now just a nameless wanderer who seeks to be safe in numbers again.
Located somewhere within an un-named forest whose trees seem to crave magic. It contains all of our heroes, and Gobush . In the center there resides a pile of ashes, remains of a magical fire. To the southern end of the Base camp there resides a Small Primitive Hut and a Basic Smelter whose fire has gone out. Apparently a small band of Goblins is nearby. Are they truly friendly?
You still have yet to name the forest nor has anyone discovered a name for it. It’s trees seem to feed on magic but are not sentient. There is plenty of wood and with each day your ability to find materials in it grows as does your familiarity with the area. However you suspect that there is a goblin tribe nearby. This can’t be the entire world can it?
Gobush speaks of mountains to the west of the Goblin Village. They house a tribe of what he calls the “Not-us”… What these creatures are, if they exist, is a mystery. Gobush himself seems to hold no interest in these rumors.
[Spoiler=Small Primitive Hut]
Standing at about six feet tall and four feet wide this construction can only contain 1 small humanoid comfortably, 2 small humanoids uncomfortably, and 1 medium humanoid uncomfortably. It will protect against small creatures though not against sentients or larger animals. While it’s not much to look at it certainly beats sleeping outside.
A small pile of rocks and logs that is capable of smelting ores into usable metal bars. While not fancy it can smelt certain items. However it’s fire is currently out and needs to be relit before it can be used again.
According to Gobush there is a Goblin Village led by Nishi the Butcher far to the North, past the Forest. The despotic leader has a taste for destruction and so he has taken to destroying anything he can raid. While there are several goblins who dislike this modus operandi they have no choice but to comply. A few lucky ones escape. The others are part of the royal feasts.
Rations: While preventing starvation the food you’ve found here has slight medicinal properties healing 3 health per meal.
Healing Poultice: When applied to wounds it has an amazing healing effect, healing upwards of 6 health. They also appear to have a small chance of increasing maximum health.
Primitive Shivs = Sharpenable materials such as wood can be made into these primitive weapons. While not as strong as a metal dagger or even a metal bar they are capable of being made into other things.
Primitive Axe= Sharp rocks attached to a stick can form this primitive tool. It’s sharp enough to do damage to both flesh and wood. However it is frail and probably won’t last long. Luckily it’s easily made and takes little skill.
Primitive Arrows= Primitive Shivs that have been fletched with large arrows. While they lack an arrow-head they are useful enough at the moment when used in conjunction with a bow. However without one they are little more than decorated Primitive Shivs.
Unweildy Primitive Hammer= Basically just a big rock on a log this is useful only for the most basic of hammerings. In fact it’s so unwieldy and hard to use that it’s impossible to use in combat for long.
Small Primitive Hut= A hodge-podge collection of stone and wood it’s really not that bad for a first go. It will protect against smaller wild-life without the need for a ward. Sentients or larger wild-life however will make short work of it.
Primitive Wooden Shield= Made up of wood and a basic strap this shield will protect against basic damage but will be worthless against metal or fire. It’s stability is also low so it’s unlikely to last long against repetitive attacks.
Rock-head Spear= A stick with a sharpened rock on it. Not the best weapon on Centria but it will damage fleshy targets. However it is very brittle and will break easily.
Primitive Spear= Otherwise known as a sharpened stick. It will hurt but is unlikely to cause deadly blows. It’s a basic weapon that can be adapted through several methods. It’s versatility is matched only by its frailty as this weapon is very likely to break.
Primitive Bow= A basic bow made of a stick and some string plants. It will launch an arrow a sufficient distance however it needs to be sturdier before it can launch them beyond a small range. The arrows launched from this will kill if shots are lucky but mostly they will wound.
Primitive Knife= A sharp rock attached to a small wooden hilt. It can cut through flesh easily enough but is rather brittle and likely to break at any-time. Gobush seems to have an affinity for them.
Reinforced Primitive Bow= A Primitive Bow that has been reinforced with a strip of leather so that it will not shatter so easily. It is also more accurate.
Stone-Tip Arrows= Sharpened rocks placed on Primitive Arrows cause them to be much deadlier than either of their components alone. While it won’t do damage against armor they are less likely to break.
Primitive Pick= Capable of scooping earth out of the way and mining softer metals a Primitive Pick is the first step to a full mining operation. Better still it can be used rather well in combat though a Primitive Axe or knife is better.
Large Tent= Capable of holding a single Large humainoid comfortably, up to 2 medium sized humanoids can share this mobile home with relative discomfort but it will always beat sleeping on the ground.
TIP: Not all information I present you with is true. I just give you what your characters would arrive at.
NOTE: I was surprised by Wer6’s distrust of Gobush. I was actually sort of offended for him.
