begin scouting around the area for herbs, berry’s, and the local area
After searching for the day between bouts of discussion you find at least 3 rations worth of edible berries. The area itself looks to be teeming with plant-life and plenty of trees and related wood products. Late into the evening you begin to construct a forge from… imagination. As expected it smiths a fine dream sword. However this isn’t likely to help much when faced with an actual enemy.

get to know others, experiment with different leaves to see what makes good tinder. Help where I can.
While dialogue fills you in on most important aspects you extrapolate what you can from the others based on appearance and demeanor. The leaves appear to be flimsy and thin so they should catch flame pretty easily. After a while you help Lena to search for berries. You find slightly less than her and only manage to find 2 rations worth.

While the others look for food you search the local area much more broadly collecting an assortment of food, wood, and several sharp rocks. Unfortunately as you spent your time searching for such a wide variety of things you bring back much less food than the others with only 1 ration. You find 3 logs, 5 sticks, and 2 sharp rocks. Furthermore despite looking all around the local area you couldn’t find a water source. Luckily rations seem to take care of that need.

Hm… No dice. It appears whoever placed you here has stolen your bows and arrows. You might have to do without until you can find or make one.

After a days worth of searching you prepare to settle in for the night. After each eating a ration each you sit down around the area you awoke in. Luckily plenty of food seems to be around so you can rest easy knowing you won’t starve. The only issue is that local wild-life may want it. Furthermore you don’t really know what lives in this forest aside from a variety of edible plants and trees. What do you do?

Grabbing a handful of the sharpened rocks you sharpen your sticks and logs into small spears. Due to your inexperience they mostly break or are unusable as spears. However you eventually get what resemble spears, though as they’re made from sticks they are quite small. You manage to make 3 Primitive Shivs at the cost of 5 sticks. [You manage to make 3 primitive shivs]

After looking for several hours for any signs of peat and coal you are forced to conclude that there is none in this forest. Using the remainer of your time you attempt to create a fire. Luckily for your group you manage to get a fire going. [You established a Base Camp! It is currently furnished by only a fire.]

You spend your day trying to make a bow and some arrows. Unfortunately you did not prepare yourself for this task. You try to make a few primitive arrows with some sticks laying around but they are unfletched. They are more along the lines of Primitive Shivs than arrows. Maybe if you had some feathers they would be usable as arrows. [You gain 2 Primitive Shivs]

Focusing your energies into the air around the group you manage to establish a weak ward around the group. However you feel your energy drain as you do. The trees bristle with an odd fervor for a few seconds after the ward is placed but soon settle back into simple trees. [You take 2 damage]

Your actions today have provided a safe haven for the night and each of you rest easy knowing that wild-life is unlikely to attack you in your sleep. You awaken the next morning feeling more confident about the forest. Oddly enough despite its weakness the fire is still burning. Asking around each of you confirm that no one tended to the fire that night... Perhaps the wood is responsible? It did react oddly to Urgo's magic. What do you do?
