Urgo Ferlar

Now I can finally talk to the goblin now maybe get some more information about the surrounding environment.

Cast translation spell on myself speak to the goblin about anything interest in the surrounding area and how was his village was like before Nishi the Butcher. Also experiment with some magic, levitate a small pebble and launch it into a tree. If you feel no drain continue on it on a slightly larger rock and repeat, keep repeating until you start to feel a drain and then stop and move to a smaller size rock. Then continue practicing this until you can move large rocks without feeling much that much of a drain the trees have on you when you use magic. Also watch before launch the stone just in case you hit someone.

Edit: Spell check, grammar

Very little happened today that is worth mentioning. Supplies seem to be piling up now that Leon and Alith are hunting. Perhaps it’s time to expand? And what of this rumor of the Not-us in the Mountains to the West? Could they mean something important? And where exactly is this Nishi Village? Still one thing remains clear you need to decide What you do now.

What are these Not-Us? But at last there is more present concern with the camp. But for some reason Lena is seemingly started to build a smelter.

Urgo to Lena "Wouldn't be wise to build defenses before building a smelter since the only thing is holding wild animals back is the ward which is getting weaker as the days pass."

Look for alchemical plants and also look for rations. Come up with some weapons designs, maybe help with the smelter.

(My health should be 10)

Question: I am assuming that I can also influence others minds without be drained by the forest? Also to what extent of what physical effort? I can do things that are well beyond my psychical capabilities like launch stones at speeds that are impossible to throw at, and start fires at distance when conditions are right.

When I wake up gather my stuff then go visit Lena and ask her.
"Would you mind if I borrow the goblin, I wanna do some night hunting and 2 sets of eyes would be better then one.
Go hunting for food or raw materials all night, if I find animal tracks try to bring down as many animals as I can and bring them back whole.

Spoiler: jaass/Urgo’s Actions (click to show/hide)

The cold morning is all that greets you when you awake. Most of you step past the smoldering fires in the smelter and in the center of camp. While two of you decide what to do at camp the other two, who do not yet require sleep, continue their hunt. Gobush however has returned early to watch over his Chieftain. It would appear that the small creature does not require sleep at all. The question remains:  What you do now.

Return to camp, capture any more animals of pig size or larger possible along the way and also gather as much building materials or food as I can, when I reach camp skin the snake and pigs then cook the meat.

(The ward is out if you didn't realize, and I don't plan to reinstate it as maybe we get some new animals.)

Process the alchemical plants into something useful. See if you can bring up some rock walls from the ground to surround the camp by using magic if you feel a drain, stop. If this doesn't work go gather some materials and expand the hut.

I wanted to see if any wildlife will come wandering into our camp now. We have no common goal right now as seeing we are all over the map.

Goals

1. Establish defenses(walls, upgrading hut)
2. Find a more stable means of finding food perhaps agriculture.
3. Escape plan just encase some enemies decides to come a visit.
4. Go visit these Not-Us perhaps one day take over that Goblin village.

(( We'll I'm gonna stick to my current goal which is to find lots of animals and materials and if I'm lucky, to find a partner or two. Since your goals will take time and we are going to need food. But nerjin how would you handle breeding animals in this? Like with my 2 pigs if one was male and one female how many turns would it take to have a baby and how many for it to grow up? ))

TIP: I love writing TIP in  big letter. Makes me feel important.

TIP: Your characters will discover that animals breed quickly in Centria. How quick? Various animals take various amounts of time. You'll have to figure out which ones take how long.

(( Gonna need to bring in some live animals then, oh also how is the goblin that dabbles as a hunter more skilled in hunting then I am when it's my profession? ))
