RULESLeveling upattack/magic: this decides the maximum ammount of damage you can do with a regular attack.
defence: this decides how much damage you can negate from an enemy attack.
Critical: this is how likely you are to get a damge bonus for your attacks.
Health: how much damage you can take before you are dead. (you will need to be healed for this to regnerate or sleep at camp)
stamina/mana: this is needed to use skills/spells. (Stamina will regenerate if you are not in combat. Mana will continuously regenerate. They will be completly restored when you sleep.)
When you level up I will roll a 100 sided die for each of the above traits, except for critical which will be a 20 sided die, and they will increase by the number rolled.
First you need to pick your race, gender, and a name.
RACETroll: These creatures stand 7-8 feet tall. They have a very tough skin almost rock in nature and as such cannot wear armor. They also cannot wield proper weapons, but crude clubs. They are resistent to physical attacks but are at a disadvantage when it comes to magic. They can learn very basic spells.
Elven: They are human in appearance except for pointy ears and shorter standing from about 5 feet to 5 feet 9 inches, as such they are not as strong as humans but have great eyesight and hearing. They are quick learners and can learn most weapons and magic spells easily. They cannot wear heavy armor or use two handed weapons. They are slightly resistent to magic.
Gnomes: They are shorter than Elves and less stalky in build than the Dwarves. They are dangerous in large groups but harmless otherwise. They are woodsman by nature but have mostly been captured for slave work for the Empire. (not recommended for player use)
Humans: They are able to learn most spells and all weapon types as well as the ability to use any armor. They have no resistance to magical or physical attacks.
Magic Users: standing up to 8 feet tall and very thin they always have a cowl pulled over their face to hide what is under.... a blank pit of emptiness and dispair. These beings are very adept at magic and can learn all spells without trouble. They cannot lean how to use weapons or wear any type of armor.
Wargals: Bear like in stature yet bipedal, they are a little taller than Humans but hunch over so they stand roughly the same height, they are the width of 1 1/2- 2 Humans. These monsters are very strong and easily able to heft a twohanded weapon but heavy armor is hard to find for their unique shape. They cannot learn magic.
Dwarves: Shorter than elves but stronger in build than humans these peopple are very strong and sturdy, they can learn all weapons and can wear any kind of armor. They have a blood born ability to shrug off magic but this also prevents them from learning any spells.
Kitsune: Unable to use heavy armor due to their physical appearances, 'Kitsune' or more commonly known as Foxfolk to the commoners are a race of humanoids with fox-like characteristics being the only notable difference, stating bluntly. They are lithe in nature and more adept in magic than their human roots, but are more vulnerable to hostile magic in turn.
Next pick your starting weapon type ((sword, axe....etc))
Or a magic type if your race allows. Light is focused on helping your team and can only be conjured by using mana, Blood magic uses health instead of mana and does massive damage, Elemental is a middle ground using both mana and health (if you pick this one pick an element, fire, water, wind...etc).
Then pick two skills/spells (these use stamina if you are not a magic wielder or mana if you are)
These are subject to change if they are too overpowered. pm me if you have questions.
They will level up along with you. The longer you have a skill/ability/spell the stronger it will be.
((For example, if you learn "SNEAK ATTACK" and you are level 7 your "SNEAK ATTACK" will only be level 1))
Skills are not the only attack you can preform, evey player has a basic type of attack.
Sometimes there will be instances where you will be able to recruit NPC's for fights, they won't follow you out of the city or town they live in however, unless there is a big battle approaching in which case they may follow you. Same races will relate better than others. ((For example a Human trying to get help from a Human will have a better chance than say a Troll.
