Just watching this time around. The lack of Elfeater to avenge that humiliation... THE PLOT WAS AGAINST ME! :)

Question!

What happens if you haste a bezerker? Can they move twice before attacking? Attack twice after moving? Or does it have no effect?

E: Also, what's the order of opperations on movement? Do you count the square you start on, or the square you end on? ie. can you move from a 1 to a 0 to a 0 xor can you move from a 0 to a 0 to a 1?

When your unit steps onto a space the effect takes place. The order of your unit movements are determined by you. If you tell me how the Bezerker moves then a cleric then a second bezerker than the move order will be Bezerker, Cleric, Bezerker. The square you start on does not count towards movement.

As for hasting a bezerker they get 2 moves and an attack or 2 attacks and a move.

I just realized that map above will be an archers hell ninety percent of it is either impassable or archers just can't shoot through.

The map terrain was assigned entirely at random this time. Next time I'll have a map built specifically to avoid this sort of issue.

I love the fluff! Wish I had come up with why the clerics were with the troll and the necromancer, though...

They were loyal Wrymians? I don't know. I'll try to think of something.

Is it too late to join? This looks pretty fun! If it is I'll just PTW! :O

Unfortunately ignore my last message. I mis-calculated how much time was left. You'll have to just watch this time.

Okay does anybody know how to insert a picture so that way I don't have to do the map and colors manually each time?

You go to an image host (I like imgur.com), hit "upload from computer" or "browse" or whatever the button is, find the picture on your computer, then hit "upload". This should send you to a page with the picture on it. Right click the picture and hit "copy shortcut". Then make a post. Put the shortcut you copied between a {img} and a {/img}, with the { and } replaced with a [ and a ]. Quote my post to see what it should look like:

The six armies met upon the battlefield. Each glanced at the other. Three recognized their former enemies while another three lords were entirely bewildered that others would dare intrude on what was properly theirs. It was Grek who ended the silence. With a large battle-cry his army sprung into action.
Turn order:
Grek
Lemon10
Zomara0292
Greatwyrmgold
Tsuchigumo550
Zacen299

To move your units, or have them attack simply format it in the following order:
Unit 1 moves to 8,9 then 8,8. Or: Unit 1 attacks Enemy 4.
This is to work about with the triggering of traps and to ensure that you are moving properly. Please take note that the bottom left square is 1,1 and the top right is 13,13. It goes X,Y where X is how far right and Y is how high up.
The order your units in is up to you. If you state that Cleric 8 moved first in your post than Cleric 8 will move first on the map.
This time around we will be moving units with in-forum posts so that other players won’t have to work with out-dated information. Once everyone’s movements are in I will submit flavor and updated information.

The map currently is:

((Where did you get the inspiration for the movement/action system?))

[I didn't have an inspiration. I'm just trying out what might be fun or interesting. This is a beta test after-all. It's already come a long way since it's begginings.]

C4 at [2,12] casts Haste.
B4 at [2,11] moves to [1,9] and attacks [1,8]
B3 at [1,11] moves to [2,9] ...and attacks [1,8] if attacking diagonally is possible?
B1 at [3,13] moves [5,13] and attacks [6,13]
B2 at [3,12] moves to [4,11]
C3 at [1,12] moves to [2,10]
C1 at [1,13] moves to [1,12] and casts Heal at [2,10]
C2 at [2,13] moves to [4,3]

Warlord Grek's men had made their way to what appeared to be the shattered remains of a castle, walls crumbling around them but still defensible - for now. The enemy was here now and Grek would not abide by cowering behind castle walls. "To war!"

E: IS attacking diagonally possible? Also, why are some of zacen's units starting on an illegal square?

I had fixed those into 0's. However I appear to have made a small mistake when I took the screenshot. It'll be fixed in the next update.

Attacking diagonally is possible, but not moving diagonal.

I go last? Crap. Well this could be fun with Grek two feet from me, I'm almost tempted to say that the fields should be a bit bigger.
