Quote
Peacing a player nation through an AI nation is forbidden.

Can you explain what this means?

For example you are in a war and a player is in.If a nation controlled by the AI is the leader in the war you cannot peace the player through that.Quite a stupid rule but meh

That can prove a bit too disruptive since a sufficiently distant player who joined the war can keep you from winning for ages.

@Xeron - Not at all. If you declare war on a shitty AI that a player is allied to and that AI becomes the alliance leader, you can steal things from the player directly without his/her consent.

@Azthor - Good point. Maybe steal no player things without consent?

Aye, I suppose that would work best; though truth be told, it is rarely wortwhile to grab land that way since any infamy attenuating casus belli are usually lost when conquering by proxy.

Also, what of the hypothetical scenario of a player Emperor trying to form the HRE with player nations in it? Do we veto that?

player nations will leave the empire if they refuse to become vassals when the HRE passes that reform. if they accept to become vassals, they lose their sovereignty when the HRE is formed.

essentially, that rule is to stop the case where player A is warring player B. player A is winning majorly, but is not the war leader, so player B just goes to the war leader and asks for a white peace/concedes defeat.

obviously action will be taken against players that are just dicking around to exploit the rules.

Recap for everyone who didn't make it at all or didn't make it all the way:

I actually could play. I conquered one province.

Serbia conquered Croatia and Bosnia. I think some parts of Greece as well.

Austra ate Tirol.

Muscovy beat up Novgorod hard.

Brandenburg AI declared war on Bohemia and absolutely no progress was made. Brandenburg has the exact same provinces it had at the very start of the game.

England and Burgundy screwed over France so, so hard.

Naples is fooling around in Bulgaria, and I think Greece too.

Denmark ate some of Sweden.

And Ottomans ate a bunch of eastern Greece before the AI took over and screwed everything up. As usual.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Truth be told, Burgundy and I screwed Iberia. More particularly, he screwed the Netherlands and I screwed France.

England and Burgundy screwed over France so, so hard.

I haven't attacked France at all, that was all him. I've been following my missions and eating up Lotharingia. I have 22/25 cored provinces I need to form the kingdom. I can get one in 7 years from a diploannex vassal mission, another I'll get when a starting province cores (50 years from game start?), and the last one I can get either from a reconquest on one of Emperor Austria's provinces (yeah right), or hopefully from a later mission (probably annexing another vassal).

I took some screenshots, but the utility I used looked right through EUIII and just took pictures of this forum.

Serbia conquered Croatia and Bosnia. I think some parts of Greece as well.

Well, not ALL of Croatia, but still a large chunk of it. I have yet to finish them off. I also never actually took any greek Provinces that I didn't start with.

At this rate, I predict that I will form Illyria in either the third or (If things don't go well) fourth session.
