Year 126, Week 2 (Early Spring, The Elk)
Oku Ura is waxing
Aveanaye is empty
You mark two trees for felling, a large hollow birch and a smaller shadowoak, netting 70 logs in total. You dig into the stone, getting 20 granite, mining out a few small rooms and a larger one, designating the small rooms as bedrooms and the larger one as a dining room. The dwarves slowly claim the bedrooms.
You set up a small area as a carpenter's workshop, placing a crafter's toolbox in the area.

"The quality of a room depends on its contents. A bedroom without a bed is hardly any better than letting your dwarves sleep on the ground. A workshop without tools, a chair, or a table won't make quality goods fast. Some rooms even require some types of furniture to properly work, such as furnaces. Being inside rather than outside is very important for some rooms, especially bedrooms, while other rooms work better outside."
"You can set several options for rooms - bedrooms, for example, are by default set to be claimable by the first dwarf to set foot into them. You can make them unclaimable, directly assign them to dwarves or positions, usable by the militia or military as barracks, and so on."
