What is the Largest Amount of Unread E-mails You Have Ever Had?

The total I just deleted was over 1400 due to the "If Bay Forum were a Mountain Hall..." thread, so I must ask the title question.

About a 2000, when I accidentally programmed a script badly that ended up spamming me and my boss with status reports over a weekend.  Was supposed to be once per week, but ended up having an error at the end that caused it to keep "restarting", so it would never stop spamming.   :P

Good thing my boss has a sense of humor about these things.

Normally I'm obsessively compulsive about marking my emails as read.

Lets see. Once I had about 300 pages of unread emails on my account, at 15 emails per page, that equals 4,500 unread emails.

I wonder where is the line between spam and not spam if one wanted to be so precise. I have about 900 unread emails from bay12 repeating the content of PMs. I must have many hundred from college newsletters/other college stuff and shit I signed up for in my last two years of high school. I am not sure if things such as that count as spam or not in this conversation.

You can hit "All Mail" and check, I think.

Incidentally, regarding the OP, I have no idea. I've got about 4k of varying messages in my primary email account and another thousand or so in my primary secondary account, but plenty of that is automated stuff and the rest I've got no clue as to the read status.

If secondary accounts count I do have another 2,000 split between a few not main accounts.

Never over double digits, and the vast majority are automated messages from subscriptions and stuff.

I have a few hundred from schools at an address that I have never checked.
Twenty or less on a more important school address; I don't care about some messages' contents.
Otherwise, none. I get a rough average of 1 message a day on my two main accounts combined, so it's hardly difficult to manage. I don't really communicate through e-mail, they're just notifications from a few services. Two people send me e-mails regularly.
