...He promises he won't speak unless spoken to or badly provoked in important negotiations.

(No haggling over the price of a mug of ale to get me to shut up.)

Note: I have a silence recitation and am willing to use it during important negotiations when requested.

You know no-one is going to object to Drak being silenced for a negotiation, one way or another.

So, I thought I would lay out the situation:

You are trapped in a jungle of unknown size. You are being pursued by a mage and his small army of ninjas. One of your number has been reduced to functional retardation. You have lost one of the Macguffins needed to escape.

Any plans?

First: Keep said retarded team member safely away from any action. Second, we go find that gem.

Third? I punch all you gits for voting for this mission :P

I only object to the third.

...Wait, can't Asrean or someone heal me? And time?

Because of the homicidal mage and his army of ninjas knowing exactly where you are, and the length of time It takes to recharge healing magic.

So, our To Do list is as follows:

1. Get to a safe, ninja-proof location. This, I can handle via the wonders of Summon Undead Ankheg, which allows me to dig one out in short order.
2. Heal Drakruldus of his brain damage and everyone else of their injuries as well. Asrean should be good to go on this one, given that he has access to Lesser Restoration and other nifty healing powers.
3. Locate the gem. Don't really have a plan for this one
4. Get the gem back. Ditto.

Good...wait, what?

Why was this left out of my briefing?

Anyways, 3 and 4 can wait until Drak has healed and can help.

I think we could skip step two for a while, in Drak's case atleast :P

We can combine 3 and 4 with 1. Have the undead ankheg dig out some sort of defensive fortifications for us, then wait for the homicidal mage and his army of ninjas to come to us. And yes, I can heal everyone quite a bit. On this note, what powers do the stone I hold have, Wrex? How much can it heal, etc.

I only object to the third.

Oh right, the enemy is a powerful mage with an army of inbred ninjas. They know exactly where we are.

@Hans: Thanks, all I had known was "enemy" and "inbred". He do they know where we are?
