Archaeologist =/= Paleontologist.

Indiana Jones hardly behaves like an actual Archaeologist.

Well, we could put two and two together and write a book: "The Shit that Hans and Max Did: You Won't Believe This Shit."
He's fucking with us.

I could probably play some kind of living artillery piece... I'm thinking Half-Giant Primordial Giant Kineticist maybe...

Archaeologist =/= Paleontologist.
Indiana Jones hardly behaves like an actual Archaeologist.
He acts even less like an actual paleontologist.

I could probably play some kind of living artillery piece... I'm thinking Half-Giant Primordial Giant Kineticist maybe...
That sounds good.

I would get one of three spell like abilities at will with CL 1: Invisibility, Invisibility Purge, or Levitate. None of them would be particularly useful, honestly, because they have a Caster Level of my Racial HD (Plus 1 thanks to a racial ability of Primordial Giants), and my RHD are 0. So which would be most useful at CL 1?

In my opinion, a minute of levitation is better than a minute of invisibility or invisibility purge.

On the other hand...at will.

Invisibility at will...up to ten targets with the right logistics...go invisibility.

So a list of Truenames for undead that I'd like to get approved for having/being able to research:

2  HD names: 5 Ghouls**
4  HD names: a Wight**, a Shadow**, a Skeletal Thoqua*, 2 Zombie Hippogriffs
6  HD names: 3 Zombie Manticores, a Skeletal Deinonychus, Huge Skeletal Ankheg*
8  HD names: 4 Skeletal Megaraptors, a Giant Crocodile*
10 HD names: 4 Huge Zombie Praying Mantis*, a Skeletal Elasmosarus
12 HD names: 5 Twelve-Headed Pyrohydra Zombies
14 HD names: a Skeletal Sperm Whale, a Skeletal Mastadon*, a Skeletal Giant Squid, a Huge Skeletal Tiger*, a Zombie Frost Worm

*Advanced in HD.
**Originally an Ooze of the appropriate HD.

In combat, I'm probably going to stick with the Shadow (for hurting people) and one of the skeletons/zombies (to hold people down while the shadow/the party hurts them). The rest are for fun (most of the dinosaurs) or utility (the flying zombies, the burrowing creatures, the ghouls & wight) and won't see much combat use.

Hrm? Oh, my mistake. I've been busy the past couple of days.

My only real qualm is why more melee in an already melee heavy party. That said, I do enjoy the class itself. Why Ooze ghouls?

I might be absent on Saturday. It depends on what time my ride leaves and how quick the drive goes. The drive could be anywhere from 8 to 12 hours, depending on weather and traffic.

Ghouls, because having summons with thumbs is really useful. Oozes because my character is an ethical necronomist and refuses to bind the souls of intelligent creatures to a Necronomicon. Instead of human souls, there are the (formerly) living manifestations of primordial hunger and decay known as the common ooze.

If we really do need more ranged attacks, I could go with a posse of 4 ghouls with crossbows instead of my usual layout. It's pretty flexible like that.

In the department of good news, I'll be leaving at 8 AM tomorrow morning and so I will probably be back in time to play.

Necropolitan is....tricky.

I feel like shit, and couldn't do any prep work, at all. I doubt I'm in any shape to run the game/.
