It depends. Dragonwrought does NOT make you count as a true dragon, in any event, although it would make you of the dragon type. There is a huge diffrence. If you select it, you can be no older than "Mature Adult", or a maximum of forty years. No free stat bonuses for you :p

Heh. Guess if you want the stat bonuses, you just have to have a dragon be one of your biological parents :P

Yeah, but see, dragonwrought means you can set your starting age to venerable with no penalties, and gain +3 to all mental stats, as well as the dragon type, for the price of a feat. Half-Dragon, on the other hand, has a sizeable cost assosiated with it.

Iff Xantalos dropping out means that I get in, then we also have a healer. Which is something that the party probably needs. But I think someone  (Hansland?) was making a paladin, so maybe that is already covered.

Yeah, I was hoping to come up with an idea for what race to pick with all that free LA from being a Paladin. Not sure yet.

How about aasimar? Or tiefling. Or half-celestial tiefling, for the paradoxical adventurer you deserve.

Half-celestial tiefling? Probably explains his choice of god worship :P

Werebear. Every full moon you become a Lawful Good man-bear that protects the innocent. Which is alot like what you are normally as a paladin, just with more hair.

I think I get three LA. And doesn't were-whatever turn your alignment to CE instantly?

Only when you turn into a beast. Alignment restrictions are gone anyways.

There is a variant in the Unearthed Arcana book that allows for CE paladins, so yes.

If there's no alignment restrictions, I'll probably just be Lawful Neutral, to keep some of the flavor, but that's awesome.

Werewolves are CE, and +3 LA for "natural" and +2 for "aflicted". I won't force CE while untransformed, and when transformed the only thing you are going to do is kill things anyway, so what does it matter?

Not a whit. Although, party members may object to the beserking ravenous wolf beast...

Is tiefling LA +1? Or neutral?
