Lessee... How much time before the game do we have for crafting and proficiency-getting?
Also, can we just have a general "Polearm proficiency"?

Hm, we have a warrior and a Harrowed...I know, how about a mind flayer? I have a hard copy of Savage Species, so it would be simple to use the monster classes within. All I need is GM approval and a level.
Maybe add a template, but mind flayer is probably enough.

Character sheet thus far. http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=459833 Also assuming a minor but reasonable amount of time for proficiency-getting.
EDIT: Or not, since Aasimar start with proficiency in all martial weapons
Still crafting a Glaive and a Battle Axe, taking ten, both masterwork.

Well, feck. Sorry all, but things (homework) came up in RL, and I'll be too busy to participate for now. Once I've cleared my metaphorical mess up, I'll come back, but for now I can only watch. Sorry.

It will be some time before the game is ready to go, no worries mate.

As far as monsters go, if you want to run a real, pure  monster, use these:

http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?board=34.0

I reserve the right to not okay things that are non thematically appropriate, or balanced, same for everything else. Mind Flayers are one of the few Abberations not directly allied with the far realms, so if you want to deal with the (Admittedly deserved) Fantasy world racism, be my guest. Unlike, say, a , Daelkyr, Beholder, or etc, you would not be lynched on sight/detection.

Hey, a mind flayer can't be any worse than a half-dragon drow!
Hm, that looks neat, but I'd rather play something I actually have tablet or hard copies of...what does the party still need?

a Xenotheurgist ... be lynched on sight/detection.

Do wish you'd told us this when you said we could use the Xenotheurgy stuff.

We have: A harrowed, A fighter, and Red was rolling binder. Have you taken a good look at Decent into shadows yet? Maybe one of Kellu's truenaming clsses?

EDIT: Did I type xenotheurgist there? My bad >.> Not intentional, will fix.

Can't say I have. I'll look at true naming, but could you also give me a Cliff's Notes version of what they can and are expected to do?

They are a skill based caster, that by making skill checks, can bring about effects. The original Tome of Magic Truenamer was hilariously broken, and The Way Words Work is one of the most ppoular fixes.

Alright, sounds fun. Once GitP works, I'll whip up a kobold truenamer. I've always had a soft spot for D&D kobolds. Maybe it's how they achieve strength through brains, maybe it's the abuse adventurers give them, maybe it's their persistence, maybe it's their connection to dragons. It's certainly not due to DFbolds, which I discovered far later and which I find irritating.

So, any major problems with a kobold truenamer and what level should I start at?

Iff Xantalos dropping out means that I get in, then we also have a healer. Which is something that the party probably needs. But I think someone  (Hansland?) was making a paladin, so maybe that is already covered.

Third level, with 4500 GP.

Also, the three classes detailed therein are the Truenamer, Lexeme, and Necronomist. The Lexeme is to the Truenamer as the Wizard is to the Sorceror.

Okay, I've been given the OK to make you all masterwork weapons and sell them at half base price. Except bows (different craft skill), and exotic weapons have a risk about them (since I can't just take ten).

Also, if Dragonwrought has not been banned (it probably has) take that feat.

Races of the Dragon has some nice feats for Kobolds, by the way. Even if Dragonwrought is banned.

You want bows, you go see Raiss instead. She can make armour too. Hell, she can pretty much make any weapon or armour pieceprovided she can afford the materials.
