I cannot use the animated shield as I already have something similar.
The belt's a maybe; anyone else can have it if they feel they can get good use out of it.

I suppose we're handing out the potions and gold equally? 6 party members mean one person goes without a potion, and 833g a person.

But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

No, you choose how to divvy it up. Someone for example, would probably forgo a gold share for the shield. I'm sorry if it's a bit unusual, I could do a more conventioanl distribution in the future if you prefer.

I'm good with just gold. We should keep the potions just in case though.

Instead of buying Goggles of Night as suggested, I'm going to take Endless Evolution as my next murmur (it gives darkvision at level four) and look into buying occult writings. ((Wrex! Please roll 1d20 on the murmurs table to find out what sort of mad ravings I find, if any are available?))

The Endure Elements potions are pretty useless for us, since cold is non-lethal damage and I just so happen to have an aura of fast healing for non-lethal damage only. Vote we sell those. I have no special use for the shield, the belt or the sword, so those are free to whoever wants them.

I'm not sure about the book. I'm pretty sure I definitely want to read it if we're keeping it. But should we keep it? There's that mysterious tract of land to consider getting. Who knows what awesome stuff we might find there.

If I spend the night working on it, I could make a fake copy of the book. We could pass the forgery off to the noblewoman in exchange for the land and keep the real book for ourselves. I have the bluff and forgery skills to pull this off, what with being a bard. But if we screw it up somehow, we don't keep the land. I suppose there's no reason NOT to try it if we decide we want the book more than the land, but it's something we should discuss first.

I call dibs on the animated shield.

Also, that land COULD be useful, but I'll wait on your guys opinion about it.

And I say we divvy up the gold itself per player, that sound reasonable?

That's about 714 gold per person, with two GP left over.

Or 700 gp each, and the rest goes into a "Party Fund" for miscellaneous expenses like raising the dead or buying vehicles or other stuff that benifets the whole party pretty much equally.

I'll point out that the issue of divving up gold per player means, say, Hans gets 3000~ value total, considering the sword is fairly expensive.

The land itself is a fairly large estate, about 100 acres of land a days walk to the north. It' situated on a frigid marsh only a few dozen miles from the Great Black ice. It is not suitable farmland, but portions are more than dry enough to build large structures. However, it is fairly dangerous, as twisted creatures have been known to come off the glacier from time to time. The elimination of such beasts would bring great relief from the Great City's merchants, as well as much payment.

Also, Grek, you may set your murmur levels to whatever you wish between adventures. I'm assuming you are discharging incursions in an isolated area, and building up the appropriate amount of stress that you wish. What level of forbbiden text were you hoping to buy?

Eh, not to worried about the total value of everyone's share, and I think everyone would agree that the werebear more than earnt his part too :P

Also, it seems the land may be a bit of a raw deal. Sure, it could be good for a few forts, but that's about it...

We could build our secret clubhouse on it. Extradimensional clubhouse. And we could then be mercenaries or adventurers for hire; we could send out fliers and have people come to us, rather than walking around the world looking for things to do.

If it's extra dimensional, why does it need to be somewhere?
