Operation SkyfaceFinally ready to move, Operatives Bisharid and Williams gear up at the base and set out to Bern for the US embassy. Agents El-Amin and Narang are left to prepare for the journey to the United States.
The pair pass the embassy first in a car, noting the guards and walls around the complex. Bisharid gets to work quickly, [
Dagger 17, Success!] moving around the building discreetly, looking for any employees exiting into the grounds. At first, it seems the few that leave or enter are comprised fo civilians or off-duty workers without uniforms, but eventually Bisharid catches sight of three men in uniform - one of them a guard, the other two clerks or some such - heading across the street from the back into a convenience store. Bisharid motions to Williams and the pair of Operatives head after them.
The convenience store isn't big and there are cameras, [
Shared 12, Success!] but Bisharid sees a blind spot behind the cereal shelf. Still, to get the uniforms here they'd have to take care of all three without anyone noticing. It might be better to lure them somewhere else.

Operation RazorBack in Bolivia, Operative Graufreund sends the unlucky Agent who had not yet managed to get the radio room up with Operative Graves and gets to work. Something as simple as that shouldn't pose any trouble to a man who navigated his way through a police station.
A few minutes into the job, [
Dagger 3+2+4+2+2, Success!], immensely frustrated with the aging technology they brought in and the byzantine electronic setup of the lodging, he gives in calls the rest of the Agents to work it out with him. Almost an hour passes before they manage to get something rudimentary working. Graufreund leaves the Agents on it and sits down to remotely activate his bugs. All of them respond, still within their transmission area. The Operative waits, and listens.
Pieces of conversation and low voices begin to make their way through the bugs, [
Dagger 3+1+3, Success!] but Graufreund finds himself having trouble following the fast pace and colorful language. He calls the South American Agents, Araullo and Paredes, to help him figure out.
Most of the stuff overheard is useless, every-day stuff, even inside the conference rooms and offices. The gang problem is mentioned several times in passing, but it doesn't get in-depth or interesting until late into the evening - a conversation recorded in the chief's office. The rapid-fire Spanish takes a few additional playbacks to make sense of, but eventually it becomes clear the Sucre police aren't quite as enthusiastic about stopping the drug trade as it may seem. The chief is an almost stereotypical corrupt cop, growing fat on drug money in exchange for keeping a blind eye to regular truck convoys from the drug lords through the rural districts, providing the means to bypass any nosy bureaucrats or officers. The exact routes don't become clear from the conversation, unfortunately. From some choices of words, Graufreund begins to suspect he may have resorted to murder of... someone to hide this. It's surprising if everybody doesn't know from the amount of bugs at the station, though.
The talk of the gangs is in a disdainful tone, but the chief appears to be holding the police in check, only letting them move in after any clashes are long resolved. There's a fair bit of discontent among the junior officers. The team gets the names of the current gang leaders, Roberto Suero, who leads the Gouveia-funded Devils, and Victor Cabrera, head of the Street Knives gang. The balance of power between the two gangs remains unclear. Graufreund also gets the names of a few minor gangs, but the police seem to be of the opinion they've gone quiet until the war's resolved, or already thrown their support for one side.
While Graufreund spends his day with the bugs, Graves is working more actively. Grabbing Agents Baum and Ruan, [
Dagger 1+3+4, Failure!][
Shared 3, Failure!] he heads out into the city with some paper and coloured pens. Though [
Hammer 14, Success! remaining unseen at all times, Graves has trouble figuring out a way into gang territory to do his work. What he can see seem like ordinary houses and neighborhoods, though he knows the drugs and arms depots are somewhere out there. Their afternoon is mostly wasted, though Graves marks down the borders of gang territory, the Street Knives holing up near the city outskirts down south, while the Devils and affliated minor gangs litter the east side of town.

The first rolls from Dragor's actions are his own. Yes, he rolled the lowest possible twice in a row. I don't know what to think anymore.
Sorry for the wait.
