What is up with telepathy and migraines here?  Telepathy doesn't exist, why are we all acting like we know what side effects it would have?  The only thing I think would be likely is ego-dissolution depending on how it works.  Pretty soon you can no longer tell where you end and everyone else begins.

That's how we're all, like, connected man.  Whoa.

Telepathy + migraines is suggested because pop culture saying migraines is our brain goin' 'woah too much man slow it down', where it's more likely 'woah vascular flow suddenly increased then decreased woah paining'.

And with telepathy you'd have massive influxes of information.

Well, They would be super heroes.

Hypothetically, if you, right now, had telekinesis, would you use it to fight crime, or have fun in your daily life?

Probably to have fun in my daily life, until I was suitably fit to pursue foes.

I am going to automatically eliminate training powers.

Also Cracked... you seriously don't know how monks increase the temperature of their finger tips? Do you know why finger tips are at a lower temperature then the rest of your body? Watch Yakkate Japan! Unlock Solar Hands!

Wait, you can mentally increase your hand's temperature? I'd love to know how, since mine turn ice cold below ~70 F, and I don't want to freeze everyone I touch.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

It is easy to understand if you know why your hand's temperature drops.

It is because the blood inside your hand cools on the way to your hand.

Tum-mo does work though. It involves learning to control your autonomic nervous system so that your metabolism drops, causing you to increase your heat I think.

Wim Hof, one of the world's foremost practitioners of tum-mo meditation can allow himself to survive in temperatures that would kill normal people.

First scientific verification of tum-mo was thanks to Wim Hof. :P

In that case, pretty much all we've got is experiential / fight or flight response, or that myostatin-defect mutation.

But if you eliminate superpowers through training, you kill off Batman. WHY DO YOU HATE BATMAN??

I suppose my Marfanoid habitus counts as a superpower of sorts: Like a really weak form of Plastic Man. I can dislocate my thumbs at will! I can bend my fingers back past -90 degrees! I can store hidden items in my pectus excavatum (its like the smuggling compartment on the Millenium Falcon!)

I feel like this question has been explored pretty fully in fiction: Heroes, for example. One of my favorite looks was Alan Moore's Top 10, which was essentially a police procedural drama in a setting where everyone has superpowers, even the bystanders.

Silly RK, Batman never was a Super, that's what makes him special. Except when he was. Batty + Green Lantern Ring sounds incredibly OP.
The only superpowers that he has are super intelligence, super money, and super screw the laws of physics I have cool gadgets.
